Thanks - sounds like bliss. Reminds me of an Arvon course I took once. I've figured out my issue is I'm somewhere where the things that made me stand out in my youth aren't strong enough - got called taig all the time when I was 14, now I'm amongst actual Irish people - so I'm clinging onto things l...

I'm not going to say I'm quitting especially as this place is a helpful resource for autism and sometimes I have issues with my autism especially pertaining to light sensitivity and I might need the help I can find on here. Also I have met a lot of good people on here. You know when an NT ex says 'i...

How old are you though? (I feel rude asking a lady that, of course it's your prerogative whether to answer or think I'm some rude young upstart) I hear online it's unusual but I've been taught heavily to respect my elders, so anyone over 60 gets my respect and has to work at losing it. I would cut s...

Actually had the guts to ask a question on Reddit instead of bombarding youse with it on here. It will probably get downvoted and made fun of but I still asked it on there.

Sometimes I say things on here because I'm scared that in an environment where I'm not the expert, people will make fun of me.

I agree with this article. One trouble is that a lot of us autistic people are pedantic about being right and accurate and not messing around with stupid hypotheticals. So I get a lot of arguments against this like 'but it isn't true in the first place'. But my argument always is - Even if vaccines ...

Did anyone else like Our House? And Otter's Adventures. Our House was great. This American computer 'game'. You clicked on parts of a house and it said the history of the thing or its equivalent from Pioneer days on up to the 1990s. So for eg TV would start with the magic lantern then go through the...

Ah ok - sorry. Yeah I feel like nobody else gets it but at the same time, it's my life and I find it hard to describe without concrete details. And I feel like I don't fit in well enough with other fans either. Eg this guy at the weekend was trying very hard to tell me he was superior to me because ...

Good idea.

Apparently she does it to everyone but it just feels like everyone does it to me.

Yes because I struggle with boundaries. I can be taken advantage of easily.

And in a positive because I actually care about my hobbies. Most NTs are quite nonchalant.

Do you mean girls/boys at school or celebrities? I'd date Dianne Youdale. Yes, I was precocious having a crush at 4-6. Bobby is actually one of the few guys I'd be into. Assuming that he's also bi. (he has a boyfriend) I'm cheating cos I never had a crush on him til we were adults, I just had a - we...

Just someone who asked for a picture when I was doing requests on Deviant Art. He wanted something veterinarian related because he wants to be a veterinarian too and we just kinda clicked and eventually fell in love. I don't care if it is technically legal in some places, I would NOT date a 16 year...

Magic, if it's any help (and not too fetishizing) I'm jealous! When it comes to the opposite sex, my 'type' is boys 18-21. I do still think of them as boys but that's cos they're pretty rather than handsome. Least the ones I like are. Legal age here is 16 but that does feel a little young for an old...
