I'm not entirely sure that I have ever felt either one. Its something I have to be careful of, because I can easily go all day without anything (especially if I am working or studying.) I like most flavors -Sweet things best, then sour. I'm not fond of things that are overly salty, but I like most ...

I don't know that I have trouble detecting when I am hungry or thirsty but section 4 of AASPIRE 's " How Autism Can Affect Healthcare " indicates they think it is not an unusual issue. Many patients on the autism spectrum experience a variety of challenges related to limited body awarenes...

Meat isn't bad, It's very cheap for a pack of 14 frozen sausage s. Frozen chicken breast is also not bad:£4 per kilogram. In my area, Frozen Chicken Breasts are £15 for a Kilo (it varies a little but not much) Not sure about frozen sausages, but fresh bratwurst or something like a banger goes for £...

I'd boycott the Ice cream, but I don't eat it anyway...and the company was sold years ago, so I guess the man is entitled to do as he pleases.

I've had to reduce expenses to the bare minimum to cope with rising food prices. so for me that means rice, beans, and greens. Had to switch to instant coffee. Gave up on meat a while back - meat prices are just crazy. If I find cheese on sale I'll get a block - it usually lasts quite a while. I was...

Its pretty simple - Take a week's allowance and allocate it to doing something recreational...if you don't end up spending it all, add the remainder to the next week's investment, or put it aside for something recreational the next week. No one Invests 100% of there income for retirement - Speak to ...

Here in the US, there is still a general attitude of Autism disappearing at 18. That's when services stop. Its far from reality. I wasn't diagnosed until I paid out of pocket for testing, and its been like hunting unicorns to try and get any real, practical help. You do have a few options open to yo...

It can be really hard to accept yourself as you are. You are recognizing that you really don't want to do things that other people are doing and that's a great first step. Its also fine to be grateful for what you have, but too much of that can feel like you are gas-lighting yourself, especially if ...

If there were multiple cases, I might agree, but there is no profit happening with the one case he was accused of. And no, he wasn't struck off the register for fraud...it was malpractice. So I'd disagree there. I also give him some credit for NOT letting his legal team use autism as a defense. He d...

Autism or no, he only had a month to make a formal appeal and did not. The Daily mail is making a "meal" out of nothing as per usual. [As an aside, An adult with the same diagnosis would also be very likely to have cancer indeed. Its just not likely in children. So its A big mistake, but a...

There are acceptable ways to raise money to fund a special interest. If Building or restoring PC's is yours, you can always build and sell them, or Show others how to upgrade/build/restore their own. That would allow you to use e-bay, or youtube, or etsy etc. to make money in exchange for providing ...

I'm not sure I understand your point, but from what I can tell you are making a rather large over-simplification. There are 3 asd levels, but they are not based on anything linear. A person can be a level 1 or a 3 and still not have any issues with sensory processing at all.
