Since gravity exerts a force towards the mass of the Earth then there must be something on the other side of the flat Earth where creatures would walk around upside down to us just as in a spherical Earth people on the other side are upside down. What could they be?

The world has always been dangerous and probably always will be. Before the corporations and the present insane anti-terrorist nonsense there were were the aristocracy and the powerful religious officials who could chop off your head or burn you up if you disagreed with them. The human species has a...

As you know, there are theories now considered possible by theoretical physicists that we live in an eleven dimensional universe. Which means there may be other sub-universes than the one we perceive running parallel to our own and they appear quite like the one we are familiar with so it's difficul...

Although I love the basic concept of playing games with mathematical abstracts, my last assault on higher mathematics took place in 1947 when I attempted a course in higher analysis at City College in New York when the very kind instructor covered about six blackboards with his computations on inter...

Incidentally, I learned my electronics as a radar technician in the US Army Air Corps in WWII so I can handle a soldering iron but everything else is Flash Gordon.

As I indicated, you are light years ahead of me on computer simulations. I have no way to teach myself that kind of sophisticated simulation. I can futz around with real reflecting surfaces and cheap color filters and get interesting effects with hardly any effort or technical expertise. Many years ...

The computer light technology is beyond me but if you could create various reflective surfaces to bounce the light beam like a chrome plated parabola of revolution or even a pile of various diameter reflective spheres and somehow multiply the rays at the reflective surface you might get an interesti...

When humans theorize about what might be, they work with the things they know and fantasize with those possibilities. The early gods were different types of people controlling fundamental forces and activities. There were both women gods and men gods and as religions tended to move to the idea that ...

I'm a bit surprised I made such an impression. I have a tendency to go into combat mode on certain subjects such as politics and religion, being rather ignorant on these areas but most curious. As a former New Yorker I am quite upset over the results of both of these areas lately in view of the impr...

Here's one on language: MULTIPLES If you are shocked by flocks of foxes, Deterred by a herd of birds, Never fear, it’s quite clear You can be coerced by words. Crowds of clouds, schools of fools Probably screw up the rules, Never mind about ghouls, Grouping them disrupts their cools. Rags, we know, ...

And, for fun: MISTRESS'S FAREWELL Have you ever seen a lady with fried chicken in her hair? Or slept with thirty seagulls in very deep despair? Have you witnessed glowing sunsets while hanging by your teeth From a thirty meter tree with hungry roaches underneath? Have you thrilled to singing waffles...

Sometimes I am grabbed by history as: WTC Who could think of these Two fine white shafts Of stone and steel, keys To something beyond utility, More hung from the sky Than based on solid ground, As anything but an immensity To delight humankind With the capability of mind. But things that overwhelm A...

Insofar as I can make out, with the USA going hell-for-leather to start an atomic war with Russia and China and the world population enthusiastically generating global warming with cheap oil and a good deal of the agriculture and fishing industries killing most of the ocean and poisoning farm produc...
