10 months (7 months corrected, as I was a preemie). My first word was "aircraft industry".

I actually have the opposite experience. As a teen, I wrote fiction quite a bit and was pretty confident that it was good enough (for a teen writer). My husband read my stories in the early days of our relationship and told me later that they lack imagintion and pretty much suck. Now I don't write f...

Obsessions with people as opposed to objects are more common in female autisitcs/Aspies. I don't personally "become attached" to people that easily myself.

I'm on birth control and have been without the pill-free week for years, so I can't tell. However, I did suffer with pretty bad fatigue a few years back and it was indeed due to anemia. Bleeding during your period is the main cause of anemia in younger women.

I experience some level of dissociation myself, but when I am "confronted" on something that I did/said in such a state, I may say I have no recollection of t, but I do recognize that I might've not remembered it. The "I would never say that to you" sounds rather manipulative. Ma...

Sounds like stimming to me too. I'm curious, why does it matter whether it's a stim or something else? Nothing wrong with it either way.

I briefly suspected I had dependent personality disorder at age 17 (when I was too young to be diagnosed with it). From then on, I've been afraid of getting that diagnosis ever since. I eventually did get it last year, though for quite different reasosn than why I suspected it in 2003.

I just visited a Dutch autism forum, only to find out I had been IP-banned permanently. Turned out I was using the institution Wifi and probably someone else using that IP had been banned, because when I logged on through a mobile connection, I was fine. I was removed from another autism forum (for ...

Depends on how you define it. I've never been without a roof over my head but I have had to officially live in a mental hospital because I had to give up my home.

What color would your aura be?

Hi and welcome. I was one of the lucky Aspie females to get autism as my first diagnosis. However, later on I also got misdiagnosed a dozen times. t's hard to find the right mental health professional and when such things as limited Insurance come into play, I can understand it's much harder. Believ...

I hate the fireworks. They're too overloading. Besides, I hate the chair and table I'm sitting on/at right now. The chair is too high for me yet too low for the table.
