One of the few apps I've messed with is called SkyView. It's an augmented reality overlay that tells you what star or planet or constellation you're looking at. That must be fun and handy on clear nights. I’ll look for that app. I have a manual folding constellation map, but nothing digital yet. Th... |

It has been my experience that the people most interested in muscles on men, are other men.
Being a good person is far more important than simply being good-looking. |

Doing squats is one exercise that helps me loosen up my ankles and hips, and strengthen my knees. I wasn't able to before, but now I can sit my butt on my ankles, and keep my heels flat on the ground. |

I am not a lawyer. This is not legal advice.
However...
Short version: You are likely no going to prison. Both offenses are fairly minor, and not the kinds of things they typically send you to prison for. Odds are you'll pay a fine and some court costs - MAYBE some manner of probationary period. |

Very few characteristics are "inscribed" or otherwise set in stone. Can you become the person you've described? Tough, confident, etc... In theory, sure. Very few people are born confident, and many great performers come from a place of insecurity. Can it be developed after-the-fact? Yeah.... |

These two sounds like ideas I'd like to try out. Thanks! If you're interested, here's my process. I make the rice about an hour or so before I plan to cook everything else. I use long grain basmati rice. 1 cup of rice to 1.5 cups of liquid. I make 2 cups of rice with 3 cups of liquid. The liquid is... |

Jason Thayer wrote: 2. David Tennant (either Doctor) 1. Tom Baker
This is the correct way to start this list
Other than Baker, I don't know the old Whos as well as I do the newer ones, so my list tends to go from Baker/Tennant to Eccleston, Capaldi, Smith. |

I too have a similar system, making jambalaya. Beef, sausage, onion, peppers, celery, tomato, mushroom, basmati rice made with chicken stock, sautéed in a pan. One batch takes an hour to make, including clean-up, and lasts 3 days. All fresh ingredients. I watch movies or tv shows while I cook. It's ... |

Yesterday was my 2nd kung fu advancement test - I passed
Showed up an hour early so I could warm up and work out a bit - mostly leg stretches and kicks, and some of the exercises I was to be tested on.
Today my "exercise" is doing the brakes on a big chevy truck. |

Do you spar with other students often? In our class (beginners) we do light-contact sparring like once or twice a month, give or take. I've live-spared maybe 8 times now. We also do unpadded partner drills with touch-contact. That's something we do weekly. I've got an advancement test this weekend,... |

Last few days of martial arts class have been a lot of alternating between jumping kicks and wrist-locks, along with some assisted stretches - in addition to the usual warm up stuff we do. |

It's derived from an expression that relates to the sport of Boxing. Boxing is separated into different weight classes. Light weight, middle weight, heavy weight, etc. It's so you don't have a 6'5 250 lb guy fight a 5'7 165 lb guy. If they're so good at their class that they can compete in the weigh... |
