You're not wrong, man.
And I don't know why the hiring process is so idiotic.
"Where do you see yourself in 10 years?"
Homeless.

How do you do in science, aside from calculus? If you could handle the science, you might be a good fit for a health care field, and that is a growth area in all specialties. This could be nursing or any of a number of allied careers such as respiratory therapist, lab tech, physical therapy, physic...

That's not going to get you very far. You need to have a strong track record in publishing if you want to compete with other people for jobs in writing/publishing. Again, in addition to a track record portfolio, your aptitude, competence and performance (e.g. grades) are also taken into considerati...

Psychology bachelor's degrees are a way overpopulated field, with poor job prospects. Unless you love it, and plan on going for the master's, I wouldn't recommend it. In lieu of engineering, where other students might have an advantage over you if you haven't done well in calculus, maybe you could ...

Well it's been said before, why don't incels just go for prostitutes. But is it because they know that the prostitutes don't really want them so the relief and satisfaction is just not there with them therefore? I would say that likely at least some of these men know that prostitutes are FAR, FAR m...

Well then, that settles it. I was wrong. You are not just imagining it, you really are undateable. This puts you in a situation where you have only three options: 1. Continue doing what you are doing: Continue to complain about being dateless while knowing why and doing nothing about it. [/color] I...

As an insult, the word is stupid. The idea attached to the word sounds like "potrae" [potential rapist] or "rae" [rapist] more than it sounds like "incel" [involuntarily celibate]. I hate potential rapists and actual rapists. I do not hate every person who is a virgin f...

This would directly tie into religion, since "destiny" and "fate" are two different ideas. They both tell of the future, but destiny is predestined, meaning some sort of spiritual being is around to make sure that it happens according to Their plan.

In lieu of engineering, where other students might have an advantage over you if you haven't done well in calculus, Ah I missed that bit. Yep, a pass in calculus will mean struggling but that's why aptitude is often more important than competence. If a student is keen to do an engineering degree th...

I wasn't thinking of the pre-psychology helping in finding engineering jobs, but just any jobs.

At the moment, I'll see if I can apply to other universities.

I secured a General Studies Associate's, and successfully transferred to university, but only into my third-choice major. My first 2 choices were both forms of engineering, and my third choice was a BA in psychology. I don't have any other options, I have to tell my dad that it seems changing my car...

I can't understand why people like him. Somebody literally told me to study psychology and that it would enlighten me that anyone as smart as Sheldon would act like him. This was after I said the writers weren't consistent because in some episodes he may be autistic (early in the show), but otherwis...

It's not hard to assemble computers from standard parts. Many computer shops even offer customization options in the form of a web interface where you can pick the specific parts you want, and they'll either assemble it for you for a small fee or just ship you the parts. The problem with building c...

What is a leave of absence? It's like hitting the pause button. I did it for work once, will be doing it again soon (parental leave) and should be done it in University to deal with my issues. In short, it keeps everything "warm" for you so you can return just as you left. How do you get ...

Interviewing isn't the best way to get work; it's just the process which is the most public and formalized. A huge proportion of jobs - usually the better ones - are gained by networking: knowing people and knowing people who know people, and building and maintaining those social networks (not the ...
