Well, yeah, martial arts isn't bad. But don't do it to be able to protect yourself, it is very likely to end up bad for you. Most important lessons I learned was Run! and Confuse! No matter how skilled you are you may end up facing someone more skilled and/or with a weapon, overconfidence is danger...

I'm sorry you had to go through something like this. Stay strong and hold your head up high. It will take time to get your stability in life back though. I was molested by a neighborhood boy when I was 6 years old. I don't like to talk about it much and I blocked much of it out because it happened o...

This has been concerning me for a while is it normal for us Aspies to get annoyed easily or irritable easily? for example my aunt stays with us for 6 months out of the year, I have nothing against her but why do I get annoyed quickly? such as feeling that I have to live around someone else such as ...

Thank you for your reply. I feel embarissed as it took me until around 2 years ago to work it out which is more then twice the age that you mentioned when you found out. Oh please don’t feel embarrassed…! Your journey is totally valid and different people will have different experiences. It’s great...

I'm sorry you're going through all of this and I agree what most others have said. However, I'd like you to think of the mother's situation from a different perspective. To do that I need to explain a little of my last few years. I moved home abruptly when my mom became deathly ill. We spent about 3...

That's so cool. The jar the candle is in is really pretty too! I have a habit of buying candles bc I like the jar  when the candle is done I put mini fairy lights inside so I still enjoy it. Your story was fun too, it made me laugh. I prefer color order too. Thanks for sharing such a fun thing....

That's hilarious. In my area Amazon delivers it, or they have contract drivers in their personal car. Most of the time it's an Amazon van though. The same 2 people usually deliver. They're really nice and always say hi if I'm outside. One gave my dog treats. and they always follow delivery i...

I don't see a problem with it. Every dog I've had is a large breed and all of them play this way. None of them have ever bitten anyone. All my dogs have had lots of training though. They don't play with people outside the family and close friends this way. On the other, there is a lot of pit bull pr...

Agree nothing wrong with a nap. Also, coffee or run around and play with any fluffy four legged friend you have. That always wakes me up, gets the juices flowing so to speak. And it makes the furbabies happy. It makes me happy too, I'm always laughing when I play with them and I find laughter to be ...

I touch things as I walk. I'm not sure if it's a stim for me, but I can be a bit of a sensory seeker, and some things are just too touchable to just leave alone. So I don't. Yep. I've done it since I was a kid, still do. It's almost like I can't fully comprehend some objects unless I touch th...

How are you liking Prodigal Son?

I'm liking it. I'm part of the way through season 2. I laughed way too much at the shrodinger's cat comment about the girl in the box when Malcom had a concussion. And I'm liking the new doctor in on dr whitleys ward.
