I turned 40 last week and I don't feel good about not having a independent paid job and I've never been to college or university. Do/did any of you feel not good about turning 40?

It's no one's fault but I don't really like sympathy when I tell someone an problem I have. I feel I don't deserve sympathy and I would rather have a solution to a problem than a listening ear, which is why a counsellor would not be good for me. Do any of you feel the same way?

Is it weird that in a virtual aspie group I'm often the last one to speak yet in real life/in person I'm often quite loud? I feel in the virtual group I have barley anything to say, yet in real life I have too much to say.

I only have a few online friends and a few in person/real life friends. Is it weird that I given up on making real life friends? I don't like getting disappointed again and again. I highly doubt I will make anymore in person friends. My mental health is a priority meaning it's more important than ma...

The ironic thing is in real life I'm quite loud when I speak but in these 2 groups that I've started (2 virtual autism groups) I'm very quiet because I don't know what to say. And I feel awkward when I don't know what to say and it can be complicated and I feel I can't win if I'm too loud and it bec...

I've had very little success at making friends so I've considered not trying to look for more friends, especially with in person friends. However, I might try to make online friends. Is that weird?

I'm in a new virtual group and it bothers me when my close friend tells me I will probably make friends in the group. Here's thing: I have some online friends but only 2 in person friends and I don't see them too often. So I recently started joining a online aspie group and and I feel like saying &q...
