i agree with metal man. that way it gives her an opening to accept or decline but it is in a totally casual way. and then if she accepts and coffee goes well, you could say this was really fun would you like to get together for lunch/dinner/a movie etc. at some point if you like her you will have to... |

i agree with DW, some kids or people for that matter do not realize the words that they are using are offensive to some if they are acceptable in thier home. a simple letting that boy know that you do not like those words being used in your house is fine, and i agree with asking him to leave on the ... |

my son is in grade 1 and hated writing stuff and would cause a big problem for himself and the teacher when he had to write, we found that using the larger pencils (primary printer) or one that is slightly larger than normal but has a triangular shape has helped him out cause it used to be uncomfort... |

my son (6) does this all the time when he gets excited it is pretty funny especially when he is doing it while playing computer games...my brother calls him the little bird...lol.

no real experience with this only with my 3 year old who has tendancies to dump bottles full of stuff but i agree with many of theother posters in suppplying her with travel sized bottles, put a little bit od shampoo soap etc in them adn let her have those. or perhaps if it is an issue with portion ... |

well i didn;t get it with my sona t first either i just thought he was a very bright kid. he loves math so i guess his thing is numbers and now it is still numbers but he also enjoys webkinz and other video games too. although tht didn;t really develop untill he was exposed to them. don;t worry so m... |

yeah as a mom we love to get out brag on about our amazing kids, especially when they have issues in other areas. like kind of to prove that he is an amazing kid he just has skills in other areas. i dunno i think that;s how i would feel or have felt about stuff too. i want to say so waht if he can't... |

i know i had this problem last year with my son, thankfully i run teh afterschool program he was at so i could just take care of it, i found that he did it a lot while on the computer cause he gets really focused. thanks tracker for that insight about the body signals being so quiet i think sometime... |
