My Dad used to live outside Jacksonville. Having a power outage kill the A/C and preventing use of a fan was very uncomfortabl... |

Keep us posted. It sounds like there are a few of us who are curious about how it goes. Isn't Milton supposed to hit the West coast of Florida as a major hurricane but be down to tropical storm by the time it reaches the East coast? If your place is as far from the Gulf as Orlando it seems like Milt... |

You mentioned The Bridge , originally The Bridge a Danish/Swedish collaboration about a murder on the border between those two countries. But, apparently it was a good idea and there have been numerous remakes . That I can piece together: □ The Bridge [2011–2018] about a murder on the Denmark/Sweden... |

It was a suggestion for ADHD folk, not Aspies.
I can envision several possible explanations for why it might not work with an Aspie. None pleasant. |

I speak from experience. Even if you did not break the law and are not at fault, getting rear-ended can be very inconvenient. |

pcgoblin , Thanks for the research! I think I might have gotten my hint the easy way...when I watch it it is a PBS broadcast and they may have dropped in some trivia before or after the show. So I can remember the trivia but cannot see it again. I would very, very much like to get Astrid et Raphaël... |

Climate Change is a huge but gradual contributor. As the world warms (as a whole...like I said things will be erratic and some spots might temporarily get cold) the oceans get deeper. Maybe only a few inches deeper, but that will make it easier for storm surges to get to things along the coast. Ocea... |

Most people will speed up at a yellow light to get through, if it's not too late I will slow down (that's what you're SUPPOSED to do isn't it?) which seems to aggravate whoever is behind me. I used to be very conscientious about stopping for yellow lights if possible. Yes, it does aggravate other d... |

I suspect the correct answer is "Yes". Rising tides and coastal erosion are associated with coastal flooding and with rising water levels. Mostly I've been hearing about it on Atlantic coast but I'll guess there might be some on the Pacific coasts, too. The article is talking about Texas s... |
