The article leaves me wondering whether cats might be the effect rather than the cause.

Might people inclined toward schizophrenia be more inclined to get a cat?

I don't have an opinion, but I do have a question.

Do you mean:
\?/\?/1 Might autistic people be more likely to forget things under stress than NT people are?
or:
\?/\?/2 Might autistic people be more likely to forget things under stress than when they are not stressed?

Last night I watched:

The Mummy's Ghost [1944]
<=>"Nameless! Fleshless! Deathless!"

A harmless waste of an hour. (I'm sort of glad it wasn't longer, though.)

I "adopted" a turtle that has been frequenting the park behind our house.

I think I've been feeding it too much. It's tummy is getting flabby.

My impression is that some of the people who just wander through WP benefit somewhat from the information they get here...even if they don't become regulars.

I generally don't seek conversations from strangers...but I often try for a chuckle.

I find humor to be a good lubricant and have been cultivating a dry sense of humor.

If I can get someone to chuckle they generally seem to be more tolerant and polite to me.

I can't recall ever being bullied because of my special interests.

My recollection is the bullies just liked picking on me...without regard to what interested me.

(Except, I suspect my interest in being left alone by bullies was an interest they took some joy in violating.)

My whole life I have been good at getting respiratory infections.

I had pneumonia >6 times before I was 10.

I've been jealous of other cultures where TV showed masks to be routine. After COVID-19 I routinely wear a mask.

Last night I watched:

Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet [1965]

Gee! Doesn't that trailer make the movie sound good?!

It lies. The movie is quite bad.
