Last night I watched: They Came from Beyond Space [1967] <=> "These creatures use their powers to possess and then use humans as slaves!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwPLMNDVe4M For a limited-budget British 1960's science fiction movie suitable for broadcast-TV (but perhaps not for the... |

I've always felt like ME. The life I was living changed as I got older. I've learned (and forgotten) things as I got older. The people and things around me got older. My activities evolved over time. And, darn if some parts of my body are not showing age, wear, and tear. But I've always felt like ME... |

And some cats found it advantages to feign affection for these rat magnent farmers. Sometimes the affection is not feigned! When I met my bride she had two cats...one of the cats generally hid from people, but not from me! She followed me around and couldn't keep her paws off me. She and I were in ... |

Other studies linked cat exposure to high scores on scales that measure traits related to schizophrenia. But, again, other studies didn't show such a connection . So in order to get a better understanding researchers did a thorough review and analysis of all the research on cats and schizophren... |

The article leaves me wondering whether cats might be the effect rather than the cause.
Might people inclined toward schizophrenia be more inclined to get a cat? |

I don't have an opinion, but I do have a question.
Do you mean: \?/\?/1 Might autistic people be more likely to forget things under stress than NT people are? or: \?/\?/2 Might autistic people be more likely to forget things under stress than when they are not stressed? |

Last night I watched:
The Mummy's Ghost [1944] <=>"Nameless! Fleshless! Deathless!"
A harmless waste of an hour. (I'm sort of glad it wasn't longer, though.) |

I "adopted" a turtle that has been frequenting the park behind our house.
I think I've been feeding it too much. It's tummy is getting flabby. |

My impression is that some of the people who just wander through WP benefit somewhat from the information they get here...even if they don't become regulars. |

I generally don't seek conversations from strangers...but I often try for a chuckle.
I find humor to be a good lubricant and have been cultivating a dry sense of humor.
If I can get someone to chuckle they generally seem to be more tolerant and polite to me. |

I can't recall ever being bullied because of my special interests.
My recollection is the bullies just liked picking on me...without regard to what interested me.
(Except, I suspect my interest in being left alone by bullies was an interest they took some joy in violating.) |
