Ah right, Jakki, I get the message loud and clear. I'm supposed to meekly take criticism and not react to it, however much it hurts me.

I'm not looking forward to Christmas this year, I hoped to cheer myself and everyone else up with a party but why bother.

Due to a certain person's extreme negativity about this party, I'm doing a poll to see if people actually do want a virtual Christmas party here. I'm happy to set it up, but if the majority don't want it, I shan't spend my energy. It's a shame when some people are determined to spoil other's happine...

Yes I tried that to start with and it didn't work so I put it as the American style mm/dd/yyyy and it added my age to my description. But didn't change it automatically.

Gosh talk about putting a damper on things Goldfish! You don't have to come to this party on WP. Feel free to scroll on past the thread, jeez! Real parties full of thousands of people sound like my idea of hell, I'm very happy to avoid those  Here I am trying to do something nice for people on...

I spent ages putting in my date of birth a while ago- getting the format right in the American style. Then I had my birthday and my age didn't change. Why do we have to put our DOB in if it's not going to change it?

Somebody gave us a couple last year. We didn't know they were supposed to crack or pop or that you are supposed to pull on them. We just opened them and there was something very bad inside, like a very small unimpressive toy (I don't remember what). We didn't know there was also a joke or anything ...

It's serious business in my family.
Form, function, and good toys all play a role.
Gotta love the paper hats too.

PS Love doing wishbones too.

That reminds me, I haven't pulled a wishbone since I was a child! I forgot about them!

Heck, I didn't even know what they were until I was in my twenties. ^^This is something I only learned yesterday! I thought everyone had crackers, well the English speaking countries anyway. You must imm...
