I struggle so much with food that I cannot begin to explain why or how. I can say I spend so much money on food, but never have anything in my home to eat. I spend too much in turn getting takeout. Cooking wears me out like nothing else, and cleaning up after. Even if I break up the chores into segm...

I have not had the same experiences, but similar ones. I was diagnosed mid twenties. I was never doing well, but as you get older, in general, more is expected from you. I did my best, which happened to not be enough everywhere I went. It hurts me greatly to think about the goals I used to have, and...

It takes time and practice. I started by learning to identify basic emotions: anger, sadness, fear, anxiety etc. The emotion charts/ wheels are helpful, I agree. There are also charts that can help indicate what emotion you are experiencing based on physical signs, but they are not strict rules or a...

Some people react quite physically to stress in that way. I'm sorry that you go through that, sounds agonizing. I understand the feeling of things never getting easier. I feel like the older I get, the harder it feels just to exist day by day. I don't have these symptoms you describe. But you are no...

Sounds like you did too well  but, right, the problem is people don't want you to be yourself, which is not okay. at the same time, I would settle for being seen as intimidating...have you seen the absolute thirst over that video game vampire lady?? Which video game vampire lady? :p I'm an art...

Spotted Mushroom, I feel the same way too. Though I don't care about impressing other women, I have been doing some research on the way women dress, wear their hair, and make-up . So I went out and recently bought a few things so I would blend in. Yesterday, I ran out to run some errands and I happ...

I have problems picking at my skin or destroying it somehow. I don't think for me it is a stim. I'm just an anxious person. My mother used to pick her skin as well. I am very stressed about lack of control and I think that's where it comes from. I have gotten better at avoiding it. I consider skin ...

I voted Other because while I would want a relationship, I don't feel I could apply myself toward a healthy one. My mental health has always been better when I'm not trying to date. I seem to easily attract very toxic people. I don't know how to trust anyone enough to really believe in it anymore, a...

I have had similar dreams in the past. I've always had nightmares, and usually they are in a different form than what you describe, but I have had some that sound the same. I think for me they meant high anxiety.

It is hard to learn for sure. It sounds like she doesn't respect you very much...Try to remember she is not your responsibility and you are not doing anything wrong by saying no. It can feel like it in the beginning, but with practice that fades. If I can add one more thing, don't feel obligated to ...

I agree, that person was quite rude to you in the comments...If someone you don't know says something insulting and unnecessary, I would say that person was just trying to make you feel bad. Don't ask me why, I don't know why people behave this way. But it's really not something you say to someone u...

This happens to me too. I think people just really don't like that I am my own person. I don't know how to describe my community without being rude so I won't. I know I stick out even though I'm not actively doing anything. I'm not saying you should do this because you probably shouldn't, depending ...
