If you decided to sell anything you had and cash in your entire net worth to buy one lavish, vulgar item, what would you get away with just about affording? A large yacht, a super car, an outrageous watch or perhaps something more humble? I would buy 100 acre ranch in Texas. Note this is if I cashe... |

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. I can tell by what you write, its probably difficult to pick a favorite state, because there are many good ones. But I think my least favorite would be probably Alaska, mostly because of the climate. The only good thing about it is to see the cool natur... |

How old are you? How much retirement savings do you have? How much emergency savings do you have? What kind of work do you do? What kind of unearned income do you have? I am in my 30's. I have at least 100,000 dollars in retirement in my trust fund plus I will inherit at least 2 to 3 million dollar... |

For me, I had a lot of trouble in school. I've never been formally assessed, but I almost certainly have/had a learning disability considering I was several years behind in math and was sent back to Kindergarten specifically because I was failing to grasp the most basic arithmetic. When attending a... |

My parents wont let me date anybody so its really a moot point. They are like I cant support a wife and family because I am disabled and unemployed so they wont let me date anyone anymore. You are 32. Your parents can’t control your love life. Well my mom said I can date but I dont have the persona... |

Texasmoneyman, I think you would find that many mainline Christians do not care at all about the things you mentioned. They would be like “ok, teach the kids that. As long as they believe in Jesus.” Your biggest stumbling block will be the submission of women to husbandly rule. Texasmoneyman could ... |

^ For the most part, I don’t see why that would be a problem if you dated another Christian. Couldn’t you just avoid talking about theological differences? Many people believe in some of the things you consider different. Most of the things you mentioned seem sort of petty IMO. Isn’t the most impor... |

I guess you could say thats a decent way of putting it.The only way I would be allowed to have a marriage with her would be if she converted to church of Christ. We call it missionary dating. It gets even more complicated because I like to drink alcohol every day and a lot of men in church would not... |

Ya I can relate. Us in the church of Christ are told to marry within the church so we wont be unequally yoked but I am getting older with nobody to marry so its worrisome. I want to get married but It would not suprise me if I never found me a church of Christ wife. There's just simply no available... |

The following is the sort of stuff I grew up with: Many people have chosen to stay single, so they can put Jehovah and His Kingdom first with few distractions. They have reaped many blessings from their whole-souled service. However, others have chosen to marry. For some of our dear brothers and si... |
