I work in a shop that also sells toys for kids and therefore going to get parents in with kids and didn't have these thoughts when I started. I thought landlords were required to keep their units in good livable condition. It sounds like your landlord might be a slumlord. I have never had apartment before. Is a couple roaches considered good livable condition. I would not know.
