I would advise maybe starting a intentional community for us autistic people instead of trying to take over a city. You could maybe buy 100 acres to live on.I think it could be peaceful to live in nature. Also like others have said PA has the Amish so they are used to at least some level of seperatis... |

Hi yall, I was watching the news awhile back and the reporter said that there is this law that requires that publically traded corporations on the stock market have a fiduciary duty to their shareholders. Many times this includes making the shareholders the most money possible. However sometimes thi... |

However, this isn’t the case for me. Despite being on the autism spectrum, I took 5 years to graduate from a b... |

You have to pay workers unless they knowingly and willingly sign up as volunteers. It’s a lousy situation because going to Bethel is considered one of the best life goals you can have and JWs are trained from early childhood on up to want to go there even though the lack of pay is no secret. My fir... |

I don’t think tax evasion or even social security exemption is the biggest issue here. They are basically getting slave labor out of Bethelites because the organization doesn’t pay them a salary which is why they aren’t eligible for social security. People go to Bethel as volunteers. The organizati... |

Bethel is where they make their publications and productions. Young JWs, especially young men, are urged to have going to Bethel as a life goal. When and if you’re accepted, you work and live there. It amounts to slave labor because they give you an allowance, not actual pay for work. They often ki... |

Ya I think Texas can split into 5 states as it is now. If Texas were to split into five states, there is a very strong chance that those four of those states would be Democratic states and one would be Republican. Those states formed with the Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and El ... |

I was thinking that one good thing about having grape juice instead of wine is that it might not be so triggering for some recovering alcoholics who’d find it triggering, not that I know much about that or anything. Overall, I find the concept of communion very strange. Ya I guess its good that the... |

Hi yall, As some of you know I am a member of the church of Christ. We typically use non-alcoholic grape juice for our communion. I have always wondered why we do that with Welch's when it was real alcoholic wine during Bible times. Well a while back my old reverend said that the Church of Christ sw... |

It doesn't make sense that the whole country would become a single state. I suspect that they would demand that each province be its own state. Think ten more states with up to 20 Senators. I don't know much about the political breakdown in Canada but it wouldn't be impossible that 15 or more of th... |

If we were to add Canada to the US, how many more Democratic states and votes would that mean? Trump is already doing a good job of destroying Conservatism in the US. Wouldn't taking Canada into the union would pretty much ensure that the Democrats control the federal government? Canada would just ... |
