You don't owe an employer a two week notice, and an employer isn't required to keep you around for two weeks after you have given notice.

How you should feel is directly proportional to the possibility that what went down with this employer could burn you in the future.

Is this the first job you have left this way? Have you had other jobs where you have had difficulty on a personal level with the others who worked there?

The lesson of the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz is that conferring a higher education degree upon someone is not the same thing as conferring upon them a brain.

I don't think hire an escort will solve your problems. I think it would be like you had a conversation with a waitress that wants a tip from you and then thinking: "Now I know how to talk to women!"

At least I wouldn't be a virgin anymore.

So? Why is that important?

Oh, come on now.

So I am a 28 year old virgin guy and it makes me feel like absolute s**t. I tried my best to socialize and attract girls in university but I failed at it miserably. I just don't have what it takes, I am only 5'6'' which is a real turnoff for girls. Looks wise I am just about average. I am also soci...

We met at her apartment. (I’m getting one myself, but I have to wait until August to move in.) I told her I was inexperienced. She told me that she at least wanted me to take her clothes off. We started out with us kissing and me playing with her hair. We both undressed each other, although I had t...

OP never used the word vent, and I don't think the OP was talking about venting posts. OP was very specific. I notice a LOT of threads get hijacked, often almost immediately. EDIT: I reread the OP's post. While I do still think that threads get hijacked too often, I very much acknowledge the serial ...

I have belonged to an ASD group for three years, since COVID calmed down. The woman who created it is a psychologist who has been an autism services provider for 35 years with her own organization and school. Her philosophy is it is open to all autistic adults, but no one has to talk. We have had ma...

Why would they find out?

Most NT people couldn’t give a flying feck about autistic people.

I'm pretty sure you know why.

It's hard to believe that those people are more insecure than you when every one of your posts discusses your own insecurities. You need to focus on yourself and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing.

I know that if you have an ASD diagnosis the armed services will not enlist you.

I doubt there is anything good that could come from an autism diagnosis. If you must, wait until you have your twenty years in.

I have experience in the military with undiagnosed autism. It did not go well.
