I'm sure you know accounts payable and receivable work is not really accounting. Whether companies are biased in favor of education or experience, you have neither. You will never get accounting qua accounting work without a degree, as that would be a massive professional liability risk for the acco...

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. One of the things to remember about "functional" or "severity" levels is that they're not based on how you cope and perceive things. They're based on how difficult it is for neurotypical therapists or caregivers to interact with you and how...

It is just an easy method of creating long-term viewer retention Sex scenes make sense in ADULT TV shows and movies But what happens if they start showing up in kids' media? Like if Nickelodeon made an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants where SpongeBob and Sandy do real "karate" (sex) and t...

Well, I spoke to an online counsellor about this recently and she directed me to an article about sexual shame so I suppose that's something.

A therapist who sees you in person is more likely to help you get to the root of your issues.

I had a Neurologist for years because of my strokes and they tested me for things like MS and MG. I had some weird brain scans which they couldn't quite explain. The closest thing was Epilepsy but they decided not to call it Epilespy since technically it didn't fit the criteria. I've also had sleep...

The anxiety and procrastination can be overcome by doing the homework.

You have to answer the question of why do you barely do anything when you sit down to the homework.

So. For those asking where the autistics were during the stress of the middle ages, consider this - if life was so traumatic back then, where was all the PTSD? Undoubtedly, trauma has always existed. However, when every day is essentially a struggle to stay alive until the next day, as it was for 9...

When someone with autism is employed they always seem to work hard and don’t get paid much for it. I read somewhere that employers can pick up on that fact that the autistic employee is only doing the job benefit of the work and not the money. I also think employers are discriminating against autis...
