I confess that I cheated on a history test by looking up the answers on my phone.

I hate it when people take advantage of me. I literally have to put in so much effort to act like a completely different person in order to protect myself. I wish people would accept me as I am.

How do you know that it’s not just his girlfriend is jealous and is playing you, to get you away from him? That would be another reason she did it and not him.

I have no idea. That could've happened, but still the whole thing doesn't make sense

Warning: Profanity ahead So two days ago I had a falling out with a friend. His girlfriend talked to me in the hallway, and she asked whether I liked her boyfriend. I said no, but she said it was obvious and that he was uncomfortable. He made his girlfriend do it, because he was too scared to tell m...

I have that problem too. Sometimes I am just too overwhelmed by my thoughts, that I just want to blurt it out. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I have trouble making friends. Because of this, people usually misunderstand me and then ignore me. I just can't find a way to suppress that impulse.

Nothing wrong with wanting a boyfriend, but too much focus on trying to get one can be counter-productive. I don't know if it's still true (in today's youth culture) that boys get scared away by girls who are too eager, but I suspect it is. So, I would suggest that you stop focusing so much on want...

When I was in 7th grade, some guys kept annoying me. They said some really mean things and I got so mad that I punched one of the guys and twisted the arm of another guy. I ended up getting detention (not suspended) for doing that. Looking back, I think it was really immature of me in terms of the w...

I want a boyfriend so badly. I don't know why, even though I'm still in high school. The problem is that I can't find the guy who is "my type". I've crushed on many guys but they aren't right for me. One of my friends has a boyfriend, and she already had a boyfriend. The problem is that so...

Is a “crush” exactly the same as a boyfriend in your culture?

Yeah basically. I can't explain to my dad that it isn't the same as dating, because he ends up lecturing me.

The problem is I've had feelings for guys that I can't explain. Today my crush told me that he didn't like me, but my feelings for him remain. I don't know what to do.

I really think my dad is this way because he doesn't want people to be taking advantage of me. I think he's way too overprotective.

It’s not fair that you can’t enjoy having innocent crushes.

How can your father ban you from THOUGHTS, especially when they don’t lead to ACTIONS.

I believe that my dad was raised that way. I guess it's how Indian families work. My mom told me that she never had any. I don't believe her.
