So I got to a lot of comic & anime conventions, and I like to play my guitar while at my table. Next year I decided to go with a set-up of my iPhone 3GS with the Amplitube app into a speaker dock. I was wondering if anyone who does a lot of digital music could RECOMMEND a speaker dock. Not just ... |

I have this theory: when people describe something as "The Worst Movie Ever", they really mean the most BORING movie ever. I've seen god awful films like "Troll 2" and "The Room", but both at least held my interest. To me, the worst movie ever is one that fails to engage you on any level, where the ... |

thats great you feel so comfortable at your job to tell people about having autism. i think that means you will work at your dream job for a long time Believe me, I'm FAR from comfortable telling ANYONE. I only did it because I made a mistake (a minor albeit) that honestly defied any logic you coul... |

I completely understand that kind of pressure, which is why I refuse to be a cashier anywhere I work. I couldn't handle the pressure of long lines and impatient people waiting. I would probably have a break down. However, I have figured out some coping mechanisms I use. Mainly I take a few minutes ... |

Since you've already told them you have HFA and they seemed okay with that, I think I would just underscore that fact that it will take you a while to settle into your position but once you do you will be more than proficient at your job and you wish to stay there for the long term because you love... |

So after trudging through the mire of temp work for the last year after moving home from college, I finally got a permanent job at an Art Supply Store (basically my dream job). It's working a job like this that made me realize what a bitter, miserable bastard I had been at my previous job. At this j... |

So I'm producing a comedy video with a friend and I hooked myself up with Final Cut Pro to edit it. I got the basics down, but can anyone recommend any tricks or tips? For example the video is a combination of filmed footage of us and DVD clips edited together, but when previewing it in the Slug the... |

See, this is why I think David Yates has been so underrated. I've read the books. I KNOW what's going to happen and when. But he takes that event visually and puts it on its ear, giving me something I didn't expect. This movie? He's outdone himself. And watching this I can't help but think this was ... |

Yea there's the digital fonts and sound effects and what not, and no it didn't work in Speed Racer or Ang Lee's Hulk. But here's the difference. THOSE movies took themselves dead seriously and that made it more ridiculous. Scott Pilgrim is a comedy and being marketed as such. Not mention it's made b... |

I'm gonna try to do each of these in one or two sentences. Here we go. Cowboy Bebop: Bounty Hunters in Space. Samurai Champloo: Samurais and Hip Hop. Azumanga Daioh: Teen girls acting silly/insane. Haruhi Suzumiya: God is a bratty selfish Mary Sue (you sure this isn't Hell?). Sailor Moon: Hot chicks... |

"Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within". I LOVED LOVED LOVED "Sands of Time" so much it was so good, but "Warrior Within" was just a let down in every possible way. The generic metal soundtrack constantly chugging in the background was so annoying I ended up muting the TV so I wouldn't have to listen... |

So my friend and I are huge fans of Rifftrax and were thinking of recording two of our own for "Order of the Phoenix" and "The Half-Blood Prince". We're doing this on my Mac laptop and originally spitballed ideas into Garageband, but we discovered the standard Garageband track can't record past an h... |

Rather than make this a discussion about ONE good show, I thought I'd make it about whatever YOUR favorite show is, whatever that may be. But we must remember nothing's perfect, so I encourage you to think of your least favorite as much as your MOST favorite. I'll be starting with MY favorite show..... |

Me and my friends, being the masochistic bastards we are, recently undertook a triple feature of Battlefield Earth, Glitter, and Dragon Wars for my birthday. Here's how it measured up. Dragon Wars - believe it or not, the easiest to sit through. It's barely 80 minutes, and everything that happens in... |
