An addendum from my surgery.
Waking up from anaesthesia I was amused to note that the pull-ups I'd been given to put on pre op, had been torn off rather than cut open.
When I asked I was told it was procedure to reduce scissor use.

Still....I smile at the notion of nurses tearing off my underwear.

We'd love to see some of your pictures. To insert an image in a post it needs to be posted online somewhere that allows direct access to the image. There are a heap of free hosts out there. I use https://postimages.org/ You can use the direct address with the image button above the edit window, or p...

North Coast NSW psychedelic outfit Mudwagon were about to be dismissed as guitar w!nkers but something made me listen further. Finding their topic I discovered my initial assessment wasn't far off, and they're woefully slow, yet they somehow have hypnotic appeal. Perhaps we should chill a little tod...

As far as aspies go I was pretty extroverted. I don't mind crowds. I can eventually summon the courage to approach anyone. Yet as soon as I had a solid relationship I started withdrawing. Having spent the last 20 years with no neighbours I think my extroversion has atrophied, and although I still en...

I know this one. Most of the time I find it preferable to suppress the scream when a girl brushes past me in a crowded place, but I have been known to take advantage of my involuntary responses to break the ice. Suppressing those responses during sex can be quite distracting, but since distraction j...

I remember resenting being made to wear a suit when I spent half the time on my knees under people's desks.
**Remains deliberately vague for amusement value**

I can't remember how many suit trousers from which I wore the pinstripes off the knees.

There appears to be enough quirk information exchange going on that there is a pathway to overcome most obstacles.

As long as both sides can find it possible to say "I'm ok with your weirdness....I don't even think it that weird", then nothing is insurmountable.

Good job TD,
I must admit it feels weird feeling pride for someone else.
Maybe there's still hope that I can sing after all

I can only remember one HJ. Hey...if that's as far as they're willing to go I could still never be anything but grateful that someone wanted to interact with me intimately. It was a friend's girlfriend and I'm guessing she considered that to be not cheating. Did I consider her to be cheating?.... Pr...

Hi BunnyJen90 and welcome to WP. I'll leave the 90 in to resist my tendency to abbreviate. Normal is as normal does...and looking around I find overwhelming reason to not want to be normal. Pretension to normality is another matter entirely. I'm not sure of its relevance, but a question from an unde...
