There was a while I would have reacted just like he did. With age my perspective has changed... Now I would let my partner decide if I had transgressed an unwritten rule. I guess this sort of qualifies.
I bought 4 x pillowblocks with bearings, some 1/2" radiator hose and a length of 1/2" bright rod for making a skyrocket case roller.

I'm teaching myself skypainting. (This is frowned upon in the land of Oz... even licensed pyrotechnicians aren't supposed to make their own fireworks without also having a license to manufacture explosives) Just as well I have no neighbours. The hard part is virtually shutting down for the 6 months ...

I must say I've never "felt the love" from MDMA. (and this is the same batches that had my friends going gaga). But I do seem to have an unusual response to many pharmaceuticals. It always seemed to me to be just a mild amphetamine. Cocaine however has amazing affects on my sociability. I ...

I live on a farm cut out of the middle of a forest... no neighbours.
In summer I only put on clothes to go into town.

My medication of choice for 30 years, but I'm not sure if it's alleviating aspie induced tension or Ehlers-Danlos symptoms. I had already manifested chronic fatigue, so lethargy wasn't too much of an additional problem. Unfortunately smoking is becoming hazardous to my vascular and respiratory syste...

Until I was in my mid 20s I Could sleep until the afternoon. Now I wake at dawn and cannot stay in bed more than 20 minutes. This certainly doesn't make me a morning person as I'm usually grumpy as he'll until I've been awake a few hours. It is a bit frustrating having a partner who seems to have a ...

Have you ever shoplifted anything? Yep...Here's a goodie... When I was a kid I went to the local grocers on the way home from school and pinched a packet of cake decorations that looked like ball bearings.. Somehow mum found them and marched me back to the store to make me apologise. The shopkeeper...

I have a pair of femoral aneurysms, but the doctors seem conflicted as to what implications this could have.
My teeth...neglected due to insufficient funds... I've lost 3 molars. My bite geometry has changed and my front teeth no longer touch.

single digits seems rather limiting...without going above base 10.

There is a cave at the end of the new guinea series above the snowy river. It's accessible only from the river after an hour hike. the entrance is hidden under an apple tree and starts with a 3 turn corkscrew just big enough for an adult. after some more worming... and a quick dip underwater, there ...

With the exception of the computer, what can you hear? Magpies carolling, dogs snoring, thermal expansion of the roof, fridge gurgling, bats scrabbling in the wall, 2 ticking clocks, wind in the forest, kettles on the wood stove, a blue wren attacking its reflection in the bedroom window, computer ...

I can't remember the last time I cut my hair...but it surely wasn't this century. The goatee I started in 2002. I hate having a beard almost as much as I hate shaving and the compromise means I can get away with shaving less often. The problem is... once it gets past 4" children and drunk women like...

The older one gets, the better one fakes it. Up to a point. When your memory develops holes and your body starts failing it all falls apart. I'm only 48, but i feel an accelerated decrepitude underway. Social interaction is becoming harder and harder. Outgrowing Aspergers? I'm inclined to doubt it.

I can't remember how many jobs i've had. My head would explode if i tried to think how many i've applied for. Back when i had energy and enthusiasm being interviewed didn't worry me too much, although the myriad rejections didn't help my self-esteem any. I've actually only ever passed one interview ...
