Hi, I´m sorry I am maybe late to answer. Please, don´t cut her nails. Cats are very sensitive creatures. An 8 year old cat shoud be more quiet. My actual cat is 12 years old by now and she almost just sleeps. I close the door of my room to sleep but I know that any time she will try to come in, so I...

I left a bad marriage but then ended up living with other blokes in a shared house who are just as bad. I don't know why. I assume your depression might be situational because you are in a bad situation? I wouldn't say you 'have it all' because in my opinion peace and tranquility at home are the mo...

Most people say I have everything: I am my own boss, I have a nice house and healthy children. I should be happy about myself but I am not. I know I take everything too serious, everybody tells me this. this is part of my personality and I am ok with this. My partner often makes comments that are fu...

I´ve had an amount of cats in my life and each new cat is a new mistery. I have a cat that is traumatized. Her older owner died and she had nowhere to go and she was separated from her mother before an acceptable time. By now she is an old lady but still licks my pillows or wants to suck the shirts ...

Maybe what was missing in my life was this sense of belonging here. It´s comforting and I know all the time now that it´s there. I don´t need to see or point it out, it´s becoming internalized. With time this will make the whole difference.

Thank you, good people, for allowing me to be here.

I hope you can figure out where you are with this person. It's not much information given here, so we cannot have a good idea how the situation is. Anyway, only you can know how you feel and what you have tried with this friend, if you are not insecure, and many other things. It could be anything wi...

I also struggle with depression. I'm also very artistic as well. I'm also a very sensitive person. I try to forget about it, but it's hard. A very good morning to you! I understand the part about trying to forget this. Of course I will never know how you feel but it's good to know people who can re...

This of people disappearing happens to everybody, I think. I know many people who just don´t care about it, of others not wanting to keep in touch. Once when I was 15 I told my best friend that I was in love with her. I thought we could speak about that . I would like to have an adult conversation w...

I would stop making contact and see how he reacts, but this person is not treating you very kindly (my 2 cents). As soon I have moved to this country two "nice" people offered to be friends with me. I was younger and had more energy to invest in this. Everything was new: new country, new m...

I learned to sustain eye contact by the age of 10 training every day in front of the mirror. Mother used to tell me that I needed to look people in their eyes. I do when I must but I often look somewhere else in between ( the brows or the nose) and go back to the eyes. I used also to look at candle...

While I read you all here I start recognising that 2 of the 3 people that I understand they are my friends, I see in person twice a year and we have no contact in between. It´s the first time I write in a forum and I feel like you are all much closer. It´s too much of a good thing to have you all he...

I wish people wouldn't take info-dumping as some kind of judgement or something to offend people with. We're just talking and unloading information aren't we. People seem to think we're making a subtle point but we aren't Be aware though, that 'having a dump' means going to the toilet in Britain. J...

People with a high level of emotional sensitivity may have an artistic inclination. You may want to experiment with art, music, drawing, writing, etc. to see if that can provide a release for you. 8O I draw and paint. I did not know I could do that. Someone gave me an oil paint set some time ago, I...
