I also once did some photos as evidence in a court case. But they rejected them as evidence since I wasn't present to testify that I took them.

Pick/peel at the wood of my desk. Pick apart the brittle plastic of the blinds on the sliding glass door......

A few people here and there suggested I might be. I scoffed at the idea, mainly because I didn't have a clear picture of what autism even is and the medical information seemed vague and confusing and I didn't recognize it. Recognized stuff a bit more after reading gathered information written by peo...

Forums like this one are dying out. But honestly this tends to be my preferred form of online communications. Forums like this.

So apparently the tendency to ramble and overexplain stuff in order to avoid misunderstandings.... just creates more misunderstandings.

I'm learning that if possible it's best to keep that stuff to a minimum. And clarify further only if prompted or if it seems necessary.

Yeah. In all honesty I'm surprised he got dx'd with ADHD too. Like... the term ADHD wasn't coined until early 80s... though it may have existed in less official terms before that. I mean.... the official stuff tends to come after tons and tons of research? So it would have existed in the minds of so...

It's probably helpful to note that my father's diagnosis at the time was "dyslexia with numbers". The term dyscaculia wasn't in use yet.

How did he get tested for it? Wh...
