He's probably going to make some BS up and then cut funding for any researchers that don't agree with him.

If people did routinely get the support that they needed following a diagnosis, it would be a much clea... |

If you need disability services, they are gonna ask for proof. I'm signing up for vocational rehab, they want my medical records.
So yes, I rather think my diagnosis was an important thing. |

Wouldn't say that "awareness" has done much. People are only aware that autism exists, while the average opinion on it is incredibly uninformed and narrow. |

I hear ya. I was happy about being diagnosed, but after issues came up in work that were because of my autism I just feel like I'm from a different planet. My confidence has gone way down, my anxiety is awful, and I have worse RSD than ever. |

That autism is not a disorder? They cannot do this because it is a disor... |

My anxiety has gotten so bad. Earlier I was crying in a coffee shop because my tap to pay wouldn't work and even though the barista was super nice my anxiety was through the roof. (I was still able to pay by giving my card number) |

Abilify is one of my meds prescribed off-label for anxiety. It's a dopamine stabilizer, so one unintended affect is it dulls and kinda mutes my hyperfixations. |
