How many tabs do y'all have open right now?

I'm counting nine, including three WP tabs leading to the same page and two YT tabs with the same song.

Four are tumblr, where I run an RP blog. It's helpful to have multiple tabs as I bounce around between replies.

Well... it's not a contest. Both are marginalized experiences. I think there's this.... very hands-off sort of awareness of autism. I keep seeing sooo many people with those "Autism Speaks" shirts from Walmart that say stuff like "it's okay to be different" I mean.... terrible &q...

I'm agender/non-binary. I present as a somewhat androgynous feminine person. (Though, because I either have PCOS or NCAH, I have some facial hair. So, as a result, children think I'm a man and tend to address me as "sir". Which I rather get a kick out of.) Hm.... mainly I just feel a big o...

Hm.... well. I think my autism makes me a pretty passionate person when it comes to standing up for a good cause., if I could only expression said passion and "standing up for a good cause" in a way that doesn't strike people as odd.

I'm aroace, but hey... whatever makes you happy! It's not terribly uncommon to fall in love with fictional characters! (Including some aroace people, actually) I too get extremely invested in fictional characters, just.... not sexually or romantically. I mainly have "comfort characters". C...

When my ADHD shows itself (like in being forgetful, and I actually notice and I know other people notice), I will say something like "sorry, my brain isn't working today" Typically no need to say it's ADHD... people probably don't care to hear that detail, and it may not actually explain m...

Hey, let me know when you find the answer to this! I do the same s**t On a slightly more serious note, though... One possible method is using a timer. Set it for a short amount of time, in which you write like the wiiiind. Then take a 15 minute break. And keep at it with the timer until you're satis...

My current pfp is a good hint! Hellaverse, especially Hazbin Hotel I've watched a few episodes of Hazbin Hotel. Many scenes shocked me so I decided to stop watching. But the songs are excellent. It's not for everyone. I actually find it more tolerable than, say.... Family Guy. But to each their own!

Apparently I'm like.... the person to get to train other autistic employees. Training a new guy for the position I'm in. (He's not replacing me, there are multiple of us and we need another one.) Was "warned" by a peer that he's odd and I need to be patient. I meet the guy, and.... it does...

I've mostly heard it in terms of negative traits being mentioned.

"You're childish and immature. You're 30 but act like someone in highschool. This is common with autistic people."

What I hear: you have bad traits and you're stuck this way

Learning you're autistic is a lot of self re-evaluation and redefining yourself. I was diagnosed a year ago, and I'm still figuring out my feelings on the matter. I was actually quite happy being diagnosed, initially. And it was still one of the best decisions I ever made! But... now. I also am comi...
