| I would welcome research on environmental factors. But that is not what is promised. If a reasonable approach were adopted, by the September deadline they could have undertaken a review of existing research, picked up some environmental factors deserving further attention, such as pesticides, PCBs,... |

If you need disability services, they are gonna ask for proof. I'm signing up for vocational rehab, they want my medical records.
So yes, I rather think my diagnosis was an important thing. |

Wouldn't say that "awareness" has done much. People are only aware that autism exists, while the average opinion on it is incredibly uninformed and narrow. |

| I hear ya. I was happy about being diagnosed, but after issues came up in work that were because of my autism I just feel like I'm from a different planet. My confidence has gone way down, my anxiety is awful, and I have worse RSD than ever. |
