Hello all, Do you or someone you know collect VHS tapes? I have wondered for a while who is buying VHS tapes at thrift shops? I have a small collection of DVDs that is slowly growing, but I couldn't see why someone would want to watch a VHS tape in this day and age. I can see why someone would want ...

I think the thing that folks don't really understand is, that I was perfectly capable of keeping up with the conceptual bits of high school physics on my own at age 8, but at age 44, I am still completely baffled as to how anybody knows when they're thirsty or how to set up a set of tasks and actual...

Can someone explain to me why so many people seem to be against early intervention?

I benefited from speech therapy as well as extra assistance in school. If I didn't receive a diagnosis early on, I wouldn't have received either of those things.

Be happy that you don't fit in. Normies are stupid and shallow, why would you want to be like one of them? I enjoy living life on the periphery. I am content with a somewhat solitary lifestyle as I don't need as much social interaction as the average person. However, I do believe maintaining a small...

CIVIDA is an option if you are in Edmonton. You pay a discounted market rate. The benefits you receive if you have an autism diagnosis in Alberta - if it causes you challenges working - Alberta has the best benefits in the country. Thanks for your input, 123autism. I wouldn't want to immigrate from...

I can't say for certain that there are any specific benefits of using a Sauna for people with autism, but I can attest from personal experience that do enjoy a good Sauna. There are many health benefits that I have heard of, mainly clearing toxins out of the the body by sweating. I remember when I w...

Good video. I'm sorry to hear that the last company required you to bring a second party to the interview. I think the fact that the company refused to interview you alone violates your right as a person with a stated disability reasonable accommodation. I agree, I think the human rights tribunal wi...

Hello everyone, I've been working on assertiveness recently, and one I have found out is that self worth plays a lot into your ability to stand your ground and be heard. I found this video on YouTube and it sums up pretty well how I've felt my entire life. Give it a watch if this interests you. http...

Hi everyone, I don't know about anyone else, but I think it's about time to get a dark mode setting on this site. I have to turn down the brightness on my phone way down so that it doesn't hurt my eyes. So, do you feel the same or do you not care? Feel free to leave your thoughts below or answer the...

Hey everyone, I came across this tonight while on YouTube and thought I would share it with the rest of you. 28 is what it is. It's very, very young in the grand scheme of life. You're still in your athletic peak years. If I was 28 again I might train more seriously as a runner because I'd still have more years ahead of me where I can absorb hard quality training. I'm 40 now and mentally I haven't given u...
