My sister said that if I want to take some time off work she will give me some cash To me she doesn't sound like the kind of person that would sell the house and throw you out because you say something that she thinks is rude. I think you can relax and trust that she will provide for you even if yo...

I try to relax and not worry too much about what women find attractive in men, but instead focus on just being myself and enjoying myself. When interacting with a woman I find attractive - good looking, funny, intelligent etc - I get genuinely interested in knowing more about her thoughts on differe...

So I went back to the very first post to see what this thread is supposed to be about: I hear this statistic that 80% of women are only attracted to 20% of men I'm not sure about the accuracy of the exact percentage, but to me it seems obvious that there is a segment of the male population that a la...

That statement makes no sense at all. The cause must always be something about about you - how other people view you, if they find you attractive and likeable etc.

no gym membership. $$$$ I hate when people use "can't afford a gym" as an excuse not to exercise. First off, you have 24-hour, free access to the world's largest gym: the outdoors! Second, I found this article about getting started with strength training for very cheap. It specifically ta...

To be fair it is not just another of Trump's nonsense. May 8 is in fact a legitimate holiday celebrated in Europe as Victory Day. And the US and Russia did a great job helping Europe fighting nazi Germany. It's already a Russian holiday and it seems fair if the US joins in as well. But changing the ...

I heard an expert explain absolute "beauty" as a standard look. There are countless combinations of how a person's look can deviate from that. The more common a certain "imperfect" look is the closer to beautiful people think it is. Beautiful and attractive is of course not the s...

I think the cost to believe in for example the Christian religion is that you have to turn a blind eye to that some parts of the teachings doesn't hold together or make sense. You can't use your brain to it's full potential if you want to keep the faith.

TwilightPrincess is right. Despite how religious people sometimes try to frame it, atheism is not a faith. It's an absence of belief in the existence of deities.

Are you suggesting we should accept myths as historical record uncritically? All myths are based on some kernel of truth. Like the old myth about dragons is based on people finding bones from dinosaurs. That doesn't mean there is any truth to the myth. The tallest man that was alive in mo...
