I do think war with Canada will be a lot more difficult then most Americans believe. Don't be fooled by Canadian niceness. And pretty much every country on the planet from China to the UK (with the probable exception of Israel) would root for Canada. It could be a short term victory but eventually ...

^Besides Denmark is a member of EU. This kind of nonsense about the US trying to pressure Danmark in order to take control of Greenland is not something EU look kindly on. Unless Trump wants an all out trade war with EU he better back off and shut up.

Because the movie in question is a Christian movie, it would have made more sense to cast a Palestinian Christian (if possible).
