Is religion under attack? Are Christians in need of protection from hate groups? Have I missed something here - have atheists and gays started walking around knocking doors telling Christians to renounce their fate or else they will burn in hell?

Gay people are minding their own business and are not trying to impose their life style on other people or condemn heterosexual activities. People that have a problem with gay people are homophobes. Religious people are not like gay people. Religious people try to impose their life style on other pe...

Nobody on WP has said Jewish religion is genocidal but it is allowable under WP rules. It's allowable to say "Atheism is genocidal" as well, right? And the same goes for every other ideology, philosophical theory, religious belief system or political movement. Then, of course, you are sup...

A person who has religious feelings or religious ideas about morality is not frowned upon by me, as an atheist. The distinction between being a practising christian and someone who simply has those feelings without acting on them. The actions would be the problem for some atheists, not the feelings ...

Humor and not take myself too seriously works fine for me. To attract women I have to meet them in person. I am totally hopeless on date-apps or online forums. By coincidence I once met a woman from my hometown in real life that I struck up a conversation with. We got along well and she told me abou...

I have a lot of weird dreams. A couple of days ago I dreamt that I discovered a large tattoo on my chest. I was very surprised. In real life I have no tattoos. I decided that the only explanation must be that I had it made when I was in my twenties (I am 57) and then for some reason forgot all about...

Religious beliefs are sometimes extremly hurtful to real people in the real world. Religous people deserve respect. Religious beliefs deserve no more or less respect than political beliefs. If they are hurtful or plain stupid it's fair game to point it out or mock them.

I am not sure exactly what "coming out of the closet" as an autistic would mean. I express my traits openly to a high degree by trying to "mask" as little as possible. On the other hand I don't disclose my diagnosis to people outside my close circle of family and friends. I guess...

When a NT and an autistic are having an argument and nobody is backing down it's usually beacuse the Nt will not stop until he/she is right and the autistic will not stop until it is right. To me the key difference is what's first priority - yourself and your ego or the truth.

The US is not a member of the court, but still express a strong opinion on it's jurisdiction. In the end this will be a showdown between on one hand ICC, EU and the other 100+ member states and on the other hand the US. However it develops I think it will be a major blow to the US standing in the wo...

I think the habit of smalltalk would be heavy critized, especially at work. "If you want to show pictures of your kids or talk about what you did last weekend you can do that in your spare time. People are here to work and wants to focus on that. They don't want to hear about your holiday plans...

The UK has a sometimes very unforgiving and simple minded view on crime. On 12 February 1993 in Merseyside, two 10-year-old boys abducted, tortured, and murdered a two-year-old boy. They were sentenced to indefinite detention at Her Majesty's pleasure, and remained in custody until a Parole Board de...

No, never. When I meet someone I try to find something interesting about them and talk about that. Then what to say comes naturally to me. If I don't find anything interesting - usually because the person insists on keeping the conversation shallow and ask me standard questions about my work, where ...

Yes people tend to think I act funny or say funny things. When I was a kid and a teenager it was a problem. People laughed at me and thought I was weird. Then I learned to use it to my advantage by changing it a knot and turn it into dead pan humor. Some people think I should try stand-up comedy.
