I was once walking down an empty street and all of a sudden an old lady opened her door and walked up to me and said "Do you know Jesus?" I was shocked and so I said "No thanks!" and ran in the opposite direction.

99% of the time, NO.
I can't stand groups. I have yet to find one where we actually succeeded and got more than sh*t done.
usually if there's groups in class I will pretend my partner is in the washroom and then do it by myself.

Oops...........I kinda had something different in mind when I said, "really obnoxious" then all you other people did............... I made the assumption that the author of this thread was talking about what it's like to be an Orthodox Jewish Aspie in middle school, but now I'm confused because a b...

What is everyone defining as "race" here, because it seems like there are several different things, and I'm slightely confused. Personally, I'm not 'ashamed' to be white, but ashamed of what whites have done to others. However, to be more precise, I hate being German. I have nothing but bad experien...

What's wrong with Orthodox Jewish Aspies in middle school? ...........Well, REALLY obnoxious kids in ways I would rather not talk about..........& unable to explain it correctly, or at least feeling that way....... EDIT: Plus, other stuff that's already hard enough for an Aspie to do....... EDI...

Any of you have to deal with this? I do......... YES! I know somewhat closely how you feel, being someone who is converting to Orthodox Judaism and in high school I have somewhat the same experience, since everyone is assuming I'm Jewish from birth, and seeing as I have no interest to divulge perso...

I guess I'm one of the few who are moreso into the neat category of notebooks. I have a compulsion to order in certain things and if my notebooks are not prefect it upsets me. I also have to have all of the words in my notes lined up perfectly so that they are symmetrical. If they are not all even a...

I have been learning/speaking Spanish since I was 11 (sixth grade). Nearly ten years later, I'm minoring in Spanish. I also found it easy to pick up Hebrew and some German. My sixth grade Spanish teacher said it would be a tragedy for me not to study languages, because I was so good at it. Rather t...

I had to read "To Kill a Mockingbird" two grades in a row... I also had to take Computer Applications every single year from sixth grade through tenth grade. Let's just say I'm typing faster than ever now because of it. Join the club. I told my teacher that since I've read the book 6 times already ...

I had a detailed plan of how to get rid of my entire elementary school when I was ten, if that's what you mean, so I guess so. I still feel the same way, but I don't want to have a discussion about this. And yes, I know that I sound like a complete sicko. Or so I've been told. Just imput for statist...

Actually making friends. For example you know that kid with AS who's my friend I always keep telling you about? Nowadays, he seems to cling to me most of the time (I even started running away and hiding from him). I also had a similar thing at my summer camp last year. I have the same problem. I go...

I love the subjects, but school has been traumatic.

People doing illegal things in front of me is bothersome. If it wasn't for that, I might like it, but that's a stretch even then....

Sports which cause projectiles to fly through the air on purpose [hockey is excluded from this because having the puck in the air is not so much on purpose] are repulsive and destitute and should be banned from the state of humanity. Other than that, I play curling, but I can't watch it. I really li...

I thought that stereotypically Aspies were logical and analytical, reading some of the poorly informed and clearly bigoted and prejudiced comments in this discussion, I am not convinced that many so called Aspies are really any different from expressing the same ignorance that we criticise most of ...
