I recall some time back you mentioned Spokane has some of the most progressive and some of worst elements of US society living as neighbours. Would you not have had to have been privy to the acquisition to make that kind of move ? That’s the thing about short selling (which I’ve never done.) - it seems you’d almost have to have some sort of insider trading level knowledge in order to make a move like that, no ? Or are there people that a...

The only biological difference is centre of gravity I suppose. Um, no. I did co-ed martial arts for years, the difference between a man and woman of the same general size and skill level is huge, the women often could not hurt me with strikes, and during practice I could usually allow them to apply...

The trans community is poorly served by the activists who claim to speak for them, it's a long running problem.

Now do wages.

Heh, I split my own lip years ago holding the pads for a guy doing those, the guy was wiry and I didn't realize how hard I should have been bracing, drove my own hand right into my mouth.

You know, I've often critiqued Ayn Rand for her brutal writing style and need to beat the reader over the head with her points for hundreds of pages at a time, but this thread is making me think maybe she had her reasons.

I really don't know much about this topic, but here's how it looks to me: some people actually want to abolish the police while others just want to re-allocate funds. So the way to get both of these groups on board is to use a deliberately vague slogan that can mean what either group wants it to me...
