Between 1880 and 1905 there were well over 36,000 strikes involving 6 million workers. Do you know what they were striking for? The biggest ask was an 8 hour work day. Do you know what Congress focused on instead? Passing obscenity law, obsessing about sex and white women's purity. Creating instabi...

I've never had children. I have caught baby fever a few times, though, especially as I grow a little older... But I'm mixed on it. I am a person who needs a lot of space, and I know that having children means you have no more space. Like not even being able to use the bathroom in peace... Ugh. Anoth...

Are you not scared of burning in hell Well, I mean that'd certainly be awful if it's real. There's a big "if" there. I don't have any reason to believe in it to begin with. Besides... There are tons and tons of religions in our world. What makes one so certain that the God of the Bible is...

I've always wondered why I couldn't feel anything in church despite my very best efforts. It's not that I can't experience music very intensely, for example, and I know that music is used by megachurches in particular to manipulate people. But the music used in those churches doesn't do anything for...

Um... Do you guys really think you are not already cataloged? I am (was, I guess) an autism researcher. These are the ways the government knows if you are on the autism spectrum: ... *If you took a self-assessment on the Internet (but depending on the assessment, they may not be looking into it) .....

Rule # Whatever: (This one applies to anyone, but I'd imagine that autistic people might do it innocuously, but it will always be taken as a red flag): Don't call women "females". I didn't get this when I was younger, either. I said both males and females to refer to people. I probably eve...

I literally said that I was worried about going and getting diagnosed for autism because I was afraid of being put on a list, and look at that - that's exactly what would happen. Being diagnosed has been pushed off into the future for me, despite my plans. But that's good because my plans were leadi...

Yes, I have that. I think people commonly call it "visual snow", but I always have thought of it as grainy like light static over an old TV/movie.

Of course, RFK Jr. has no clue what he's talking about and is only a "medical leader" because of politics.

I'd wager that it's not necessarily that he was just referring to only "full-blown" autism, but instead that he doesn't think anything aside from that is autism at all.

The bulk of pop (as in non-classical) music I listen to is from the 1960s and 70s. I like some music from when I was a teen (early to mid 2000s) and I like some modern music, but it's typically retro (the only kind of modern music I listen to much that isn't retro is Punk/Ska Punk) but yeah, I can r...

I'm not religious, so if I was to celebrate Easter it would be for Spring, but I don't care for Spring personally, so I don't celebrate it and am meh to it. I want to go back to the late autumn and winter.

I deal with some of the same concerns, it's this year that I've actually fully moved out on my own for the first time (save for an apartment when I was attending university for a couple of years. In context, that was only one hour away from my parents. I am now 1500 miles away from my parents). I've...

There's a professional oboe/English horn soundtrack recording artist and orchestra musician that I have looked up to for years. She is simply amazing at oboe and English horn, but she also can play many other wind instruments. She loves and owns many woodwinds like me, but unlike me, she has the tal...
