Might sound strange but I really enjoyed therapy when I did it, I looked forward to weekly sessions a lot. My therapist was nothing special but competent and kind, it was psychodynamic therapy I think. I just really liked having someone to talk to, as I’ve got few friends, and my family never listen...

I get strong crushes when I have an unfulfilled need in my life, and my subconscious seems to think the other person will meet that need. It never seems to be purely about attraction, or romance, although those feelings will get mixed up in it too.

I would suggest working on your resume for a short time every day, for example 10 or 15 minutes. That way it won’t seem so overwhelming and will allow you to rest. Your brain will subconsciously carry on working on your resume in the background, so when you return to it the next day, you may find yo...

Since my 20’s, I’ve been attracted to men in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. It’s quite common for women to like older men, it’s something to do with emotional maturity and stability.

I generally think in words. I see verbalising thoughts as a way of adding them to working memory in my head, like an internal pen and paper. I am able to conjure pictures in my head, but it’s not my preferred way of thinking. I am a slow thinker which often makes me feel stupid around others. I like...

The internet has made it easier to find a suitable partner these days - there’s a much bigger range of people to choose from and it’s less nerve wracking to approach people. This luckily got me started in the dating world, If I was from an older generation I can easily imagine myself never having a ...

I like using metaphors a lot, and generally understand what they mean. I have high empathy for people’s feelings (though I’m not so good at understanding their intentions) I don’t generally stim or have meltdowns anymore. Sensory issues have got a lot better with age. I have social awareness now and...

I guess my hidden talent is empathy. I’m very tuned into the needs and feelings of other people, and it happens automatically. It’s not obvious that I am a high empathy person because I don’t have many friends and I’m socially clumsy.

Probably Civilization is the game I loved the most, over the most years.

Played a lot of Civ 3, 4 and 6. I hear Civ 7 is coming out next year.

I do 5:2 intermittent fasting, where I eat around 600 calories two days a week, and eat normally on other days a week. I like it because it doesn’t require much planning, and I don’t feel too guilty if I overindulge on some days. I’m not really losing weight, but my weight isn’t increasing, so I’m h...
