I have never been to a gym. All of my exercise at the moment is from walking and climbing stairs. I feel like I should do some strength, stretching & cardio exercises as I know they are good for the body, but I would definitely find a way of doing them with home equipment, rather than going to a...

People who stop and stand in the way of everyone or wander very slowly, just talking or reading a map, in busy train/tube stations. Such as right in front of the ticket barriers or after getting off a train.I understand sometimes people need to stop and get their bearings, but it’s more considerate ...

I need people because I have very few practical skills or common sense to deal with adult problems such as taxes and house repairs. I also get jumpy and scared if I am in a house by myself. Luckily I have a great boyfriend who I live with. But in an emotional sense I seem to need human contact quite...

I think I’m average and pleasant looking. I think my attractiveness comes from my eyes and smile.
Some people will call me ugly because I’m an obvious nerd who doesn’t care about beauty standards but I’ve made peace with that and it doesn’t affect my self esteem much anymore.

Managers who contradict themselves all the time without realising it. (Or they do realise they are doing it, and do it deliberately to cause stress)

“Don’t bother me with such small things”

3 hours later…

“Why didn’t you tell me about xyz?”

When I got to secondary school, aged 11. I was ok making friends as a young kid, but when things got more sophisticated in the teenage years (in terms of social skills, clothes, hygiene etc.) I got completely lost and I was disliked because of it. I did manage to make some friends with other nerdy p...

Yep, I like peas. The only thing I don’t like about them is that they can sometimes be awkward to eat with a fork.

One way to feel more confident is to look for ways to help people. When you are the one giving assistance it naturally makes you feel more confident because you are the one helping them. I guess it depends on where you are but you could look out for people who seem shy with no one to talk to, or peo...

It’s a tough question because there are some things currently in my life that I have great difficulty accepting. The best way I’ve found of dealing with things is to focus on things that I actually can control - even though some things are difficult for me and can’t change, I can still choose to imp...

Might sound strange but I really enjoyed therapy when I did it, I looked forward to weekly sessions a lot. My therapist was nothing special but competent and kind, it was psychodynamic therapy I think. I just really liked having someone to talk to, as I’ve got few friends, and my family never listen...
