The reason is purely and simply logical. Scientists have realised that the older a father is, the more likely his offspring will be on the Autistic spectrum. Because of the rising house prices of this decade, women in the UK put off having babies for economic reasons. They needed time to pay off mos...

I'm an idiot but today I ate a large bar of chocolate before going into my college course. I felt I couldn't face it but after eating the chocolate I started laughing like a happy maniac. I was quite jolly, even though almost as withdrawn as ever, for the rest of the day. So ditch the pills and eat ...

My current obsession is heartbreaking 1980s music. Listen to these wonders. What do you all think? First of all, here's a song sang by British stand-up comedian and The Office writer Ricky Gervais. In his youth he was in a pop duo called Seona Dancing. Seona Dancing - More to Lose [youtube]http://ww...

I'm learning to be a chef and I have some very, very good news. In a week or two I will be sold by the course tutor a sharp new French knife for chopping food with. This will mean from now on my vegetable cuts will be a lot more neat and precise. Preparation will also be much quicker. I was given a ...

Yeah, I would advise you to tell people. People have a terrible habit of being ignorant about things they are not told.

I'd imagine Norwegian food would be much better than Swedish. More fish and vegetables in Norway. The Swedish diet must be a little boring because the climate is so unsuitable for agriculture.

The first picture in this thread is a photograph of a village on the Hajjaz Mountains in the middle-eastern country Yemen. I'm afraid I don't know the village's name.

Fantastic! Those last two places must give people a healthy respect for life. One wrong move and you're falling off a cliff! :D

The only practical suggestion I have is to echo ouinon in saying that cutting out gluten (bread) and casein (milk) from your diet would probably be a good idea. I have done that recently and have began to feel a lot more alert and alive. I used to have oats and milk for breakfast and spent the whole...

Um.... I've not really heard of many. I know that some of the anti-psychotic type medication can be injected in a slow-release form. My friend used to have to see the nurse once a month to get it done. But as far as I know there's only a few types of med that are given like that, and it's normally ...

I am unable to take tablets or oral solutions due to difficulty swallowing. Thus I ask does anyone here know which medications can be injected? I'm seeing the doctor on Thursday because I can't bear being around the people in my cookery class.

Ha ha, I'm sure he wrote of it. I think Sherlock Holmes said it and I've always assumed Arthur Conan Doyle liked to think of himself as the bohemian detective. I'm in favour of countries uniting but I would rather us Brits were joining America than the European Union. I think the American Con...
