It's one of those things I've never had in my life, since very early age - ambition. Absolute zero. I'm happy not owning much and I don't see the point of dedicating my free time to working towards some material stuff. I can see it as a giant character flaw, but I can't even talk myself into wantin... |

So, I am going to do the unthinkable, I am changing employment. Still a customer service role, but a more technical one. Also, I was referred to it by a former coworker who knows how weird I am, so I hope the new place is autism- and weirdness-friendly. My question is what to do to succeed in a new ... |

I had to adblock your stylesheets in order not to be completely unable to use the site at all. I thought it would have been fixed by now but is not. All the gradients and shadows make me physically ill. |

I sometimes have moments where I have to first say what I want to say in a different language before expressing them in my native one. It is as my main language (German) shuts down and I need to kickstart it with Esperanto or English, which both are not my native languages. |

From my experience, aspies formulate less ambiguously and say what they mean in a clearer way than many NTs. I know what you mean. Sometimes, I get that vague feeling in the absence of empirical evidence. My solution: Doing my job to the best of my ability. That will garner you respect. Yep, quite effective. A coworker told me he first disliked me and deemed me incompetent until I proved him otherwise. |
