I had two car accidents due to me not paying attention and it scared me enough to get a referral to a psychiatrist who specialised in ADHD. It was found I have ADHD inattentive type. At first I was put on dexamphetamine and I took those for years. My overall performance at work improved and I didn't...

I volunteer at a Salvos store so often I'll buy from there. I bought a fridge for half price - $125 and it's very good quality with glass shelves and a stainless steel surface, I love it. I've also bought a two-seater lounge and four dining room chairs all for $360. One thing I did spend a lot on - ...

My sister taught me how to tie my shoelaces when I was in Year 4 (age 9). Before that I had Velcro. Now I tie them in in an awkward but functional way. Always a double bow.

The only supplement I take is Caltrate (calcium, vitamin D and various small amounts of minerals). Because I've been on Depo Provera injection (contraception that lasts three months with the added bonus of stopping periods from occurring) for over 20 years, it has the effect of thinning bones, so Ca...

I've never had a problem sleeping, except while in hospital.

I can sleep up to 12 hours every night. I've always slept a lot. If I'm in a stressful situation, my best way of recovering is to have a sleep.

^Yeah, because you can't eat what you like, when you like.

I'm sick of wheezing. I take Symbicort, Spiriva and Ventolin but I'm still wheezing 24/7. My appointment with the Dr is on the 26th and that can't come soon enough.

steve30, if you go swimming with contacts in but no goggles on, won't they float away? I don't know for sure because I never went swimming with contacts in.

If they float away, that could be very inconvenient if you can't see without them.

I've been through so many psychologists in the last few years, it isn't funny. The last one was Italian and she got told to go back to Italy as she'd overstayed her Visa. Even though she had a strong accent, we got along really well. I was on the verge of telling her something really personal when s...

Could you print out what you've written here? Then you could give it to your doctor to read.

I hope they don't raise your meds if you feel fine the way you are.

I chewed bubble gum as a kid. My older sisters taught me how to blow bubbles.

I think it's very messy though. More than once I've stepped in it or put my fingers in it under a desk or chair at school.

In Singapore gum is banned and you get a fine if you have it.

^Year of the Tiger IS pretty cool. I wonder what your element is. If you're born this year, you will be a wood snake.

Was anyone born in the Year of the Snake here? I narrowly missed it and was born during the Year of the Dragon instead. My element is Fire. So I'm a Fire Dragon which I think is awesome, I like it. My former partner is a Water Boar.

^Some great acting there. Yesterday I watched Section 31 with Michelle Yeoh as the star. It was a good adventure but the reviews I've read haven't been favourable. The only gripe I have is that the fight sequences were too jumpy and didn't show enough detail. Otherwise I enjoyed this movie. Has anyo...
