When I graduated from uni, I wished I had family there. I had two friends instead. While I was grateful for their presence, I felt sad that none of my family showed up.

Kind of opposite from what you're experiencing, OP.

I'm interested in postage stamps and I have told people where I volunteer (second hand shop) that if any stamps are donated could I please see them before they're put out on the shop floor. So I've made my interest heard there. My whole family knows I like anything Japanese but I only talk about it ...

I feel 17ish. Not quite grown up because I still feel inferior when adults are talking. That I have nothing worthy to add. I still sometimes daydream when others are talking due to my inattentive nature and that doesn't do me any favours.

The bad guy in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3. I don't know his name. Everything in that movie is forgettable.

Well in the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, at the end Shredder falls into a rubbish truck and seemingly gets crushed (I think).

I was reading that Australian Kmart and Australian Target are both owned by the same company. That's quite possibly true, it explains why I've seen anko products in both Target and Kmart. New Time, you mentioned Big W. There's one near where I live. I usually go there to buy drinks at a discounted ...

^That's cool about the immunotherapy. You must have felt great. :D I haven't had Covid-19, though practically everyone I know has had it. I guess being a homebody has helped, as well as being at work by myself. The last thing I had was a minor sinus infection last year. I tested many times for Covid...

The Targets here have started to sell anko products, something I thought only KMart did.

I guess it would be rude and crude. But just to be the Devil's advocate...if the only times you have to make a call are....either when you're driving, or when you're ...in the throne room...then sitting in the throne room is the lesser of two weevils. Better to be rude than to be a danger on the ro...

DuckHairback, I've been wondering what your avatar is a picture of. I like it but I don't know what it is!

I figured this is as good a place to ask if any.

I've been a member here for a long time but I mostly lurk or feel I have nothing worthwhile to say.

I generally don't seek conversations from strangers...but I often try for a chuckle. I find humor to be a good lubricant and have been cultivating a dry sense of humor. If I can get someone to chuckle they generally seem to be more tolerant and polite to me. All of this. I like humour and being fun...

^Yeah, if countries could get together and come up with universal bra sizes, then there wouldn't be so much confusion.

My bra tags list a number of different countries' bra sizes and there is so much variation.

Thank you for the link, that site has my size! :D

I've gotten nothing positive from being autistic. I could have been a successful psychologist if I could look people in the eye and not be afraid of people I don't know. I could have a paying job where I volunteer if I could deal with customers, work on the till and answer the phone. If I think abou...

"Why?"

"You like Star Trek."

Lol, this was my ex-boyfriend, who obviously thought only males like Star Trek.

I have to tie my hair back a lot (for work) and so I use hair spray to keep stray hair from sticking out. This means I have to wash my hair twice a week. I tried once a week but the hair spray build-up got stuck to my scalp no matter how much I brushed my hair. I don't like washing my hair because I...

I haven't had a period for over 20 years and I've never been pregnant or had a baby. I've never looked after kids either. So I guess it's no surprise that I don't really feel female. My mum uses the word androgynous to describe me. I work with other women but when they start talking about their kids...

Maybe Jamesy's broken nose is a reason why women won't date him? :chin: Not to be mean or anything, but some people do discriminate against facial disfigurements. I have a lazy eye to So do I. For some reason in the past two years it's gotten worse even though I wear prismatic lenses. I'm consideri...
