^^ I can imagine that, you described it well. It must have been fun swinging from floor to floor like that. I have no depth perception so stairs can make me look awkward, especially if they're uneven or have patterns on them. Once at a train station I misjudged the bottom steps because I wasn't look...

sfbum contributes much to these forums. He has introduced many topics to post in. Appreciated. :)

Yesterday at work I caught myself saying that I needed to go to the litterbox. It got a laugh anyway.

Worst thing that happened at my place was the back fence blowing over. My housemate came in from the backyard saying, "You should see the fence, it's wobbling!" I went out there and about 10 seconds later the fence blew down. We gathered up the pieces and laid them down on the front lawn. ...

^My mum just had cataract surgeries. They did each eye a few weeks apart. She's really enjoying her new vision, says everything is super clear. She only has to wear glasses for reading. I had eye surgery last month for my "lazy eye". The ophthalmologist cut the muscle on the inner part of ...

Do you know of Broad Autistic Phenotype? I myself have only just heard of it. It's where you're close to the spectrum but not on it. You have traits but not enough to be diagnosed. My housemate has trouble with left and right and can't read analogue clocks. She has to have a digital or smart watch a...

funeralxempire, I guess I'd be a Perth Thunder supporter. Once, when I was a teenager, I went to an ice hockey game where my stepdad's friend was a player. I found it very loud and violent! I have been ice skating before and enjoyed it. It must take some talent to stay on your feet in ice hockey wit...

Heheh, that's funny about ice hockey, here there's only two ice rinks that I know of. Ice hockey is a novelty while field hockey is much more common. I've never heard of ball hockey before but it sounds interesting. In league ten pin bowling, the aim is for high scores. Highest score I ever got was ...

I hate phone calls as well. Recently I had to call the tax office to renew my business number. I was on hold for half an hour. Then when I got through, the person on the other end spoke with a very strong accent and nothing was done because they didn't know what I wanted. I tried again the next day ...

^The person who wrote that did so in 2010. I don't think they post here anymore. I don't have an interest in gory movies and such (Saw movies are torture porn that I won't watch). But real world events and disasters interest me, such as 9/11, earthquakes, floods, cyclones, etc. Even Covid interested...

^Field hockey or ice hockey? My housemate used to play field hockey. She's autistic and while she wasn't the best at it, she loved it all the same. She got a "most improved" trophy one year. I preferred solo sports growing up but when I was in my early twenties I was asked by someone I kne...

I'm terrible at programming. When I was learning Java, I relied on internet programming sites to help me with my answers in assignments. Then came C#. The new teacher said since I'd done Java, C# would be easy for me. Sorry, it was just like a foreign language that I'd just seen for the first time. ...

My dad and I went to a café for lunch and while we were eating, the staff went and asked us three times if we were enjoying our meal. The third time my dad was like, "WTF?" and I couldn't help but laugh. It takes a fair bit to get my dad annoyed.

The dreams I dislike the most are the ones where I'm out somewhere and I'm looking for a toilet to go to. Either I just can't find one or the ones I do find look weird or have no privacy. It's very frustrating and I wake up needing to pee. I've also had dreams where I've turned up late to a uni lect...

I worked at a mushroom farm and they sent me to get my forklift ticket. It was three-days of training in a warehouse with a huge obstacle course. We did written work and were shown safety videos as well as pictures of the results of crashes and accidents. Some were grisly and I haven't forgotten the...

"Tapestry" is my absolute favourite TNG episode.

My housemate and I have been watching Lower Decks. It's in its fifth and final season.
