No I certainly wouldn't be classified as somebody fashionable ever. But I'm imagining a 70s romance novel where the opening scene is set in a groovy party with music being played on a Spinet and funky guitar with a rotating disco ball dappling lights around a room with psychedelic wallpaper with peo... |

Some people will be persuaded before the claims are debunked, but even after that occurs people without a shred of critical thinking will still peddle t... |

My parents were also religious conservatives but they were also fashion conscious so kept up with the times. I remember lots of parties they threw in the 70s and women sitting on beanbags was something I remember clearly. the advertisements and articles suggest it was the fashion in Europe and Ameri... |

^^^ Definitely aimed/marketed to younger American women in the 70s https://flashbak.com/bean-bag-chair-comfy-sacks-seventies-392847/ No question, the advert is from the US so explains the cultural norm of women sitting on beanbags from my memory and likely cultural norms of lounging around in the 70... |

Ok I finally found a X update! The claim from Corrado Malanga, from Italy's University of Pisa, and Filippo Biondi with the University of Strathclyde in Scotland has only been released during an in-person briefing in Italy (and in Italian) this week. While their paper has been submitted to Nature, J... |

Lidar maps ground surface by reflecting laser light. It cannot map underground features. Even gpr, ground penetrating radar, would be unable to remotely map structures kilometers deep. So I call busted. No suprise given the source. Yeah that seems to be the biggest criticism of the claim. But why w... |

No credible evidence supports claims of vast underground structures found beneath Egyptian pyramids Basically, this is all hat and no cattle. Just crackpots with a long history of crackpottery and a paper that will never be peer-reviewed. Yeah that's why I posted the Snopes link - point is the orig... |
