In fact, I have now removed anything that could possibly be interpreted as a "clickable link" from my entry and it still won't let me post it. What's going on?

I just tried to make a new post to my Wrong Planet blog, and I got the message, "Sorry. Clickable links are not allowed in blog entries until you've been a member for 5 days."

But I've been a member for 5 years! Who do I contact to get this problem fixed?

Thank you!

Thanks! I hadn't thought of any of these things; I'll have to try them.

The TV is definitely a problem on days my daughter is home sick. And eating is always a problem for me.

My daughter has been sick home sick all week, my neck has gone out, and her school concert is tonight! I'm missing my third day of work this week, and I'm so thrown by the repeated alterations from my expected itinerary that my brain has ceased to cope. I can't even figure out how to shower, let alo...

I too am a Montrealer looking for an assessment/diagnosis by somebody who is knowledgeable about both ADHD and Aspergers. Apparently to get assessed at the Douglas you need a referral from a doctor, and my skills don't lend themselves well to the kind of phone tag that involves. Dr. Mottron looks pr...

I too think that coaching could be very helpful to me, but am wondering how to go about finding somebody who is a good fit (I have been warned that pretty much anybody can hang up a shingle as a coach, and some of them are... perhaps in need of help themselves). Most of my problems are with executiv...

If this has already been discussed, my apologies! I was wondering if people have found effective methods for coping with sequencing. For example, I can't start my day without writing out a rough plan of what I'm going to do, that needs to include all of the mundane everyday stuff, like eating lunch....

Just noticed: Buried at the end of my text, it put: "Sorry. Clickable links are not allowed in blog entries until you've been a member for 5 days." But I've been a member for years... And my test entry had no links...

I just tried to add a new entry to my blog, but when I hit Add New Entry after I was done, what showed up had no carriage returns, and slashes in front of every apostrophe (I thought this might be because I copied a lot of it from a Facebook Note, but when I deleted the carriage returns and typed in...

At my first elementary school we were all pretty tight (though I was the only girl who was friends with the boys, probably because I was always inside at recess with them, writing lines for talking during class), but then when I moved to a big city in Grade 5 I was the "weird" new girl. By Grade 6 I...

I am quite well-known among my circle of friends for my oversharing, and new people learn about it quickly: I am quite open about being aware that I do it, and normally manage to throw in a joke about it. (So do my friends.) Sometimes I end up feeling vulnerable after having shared so much with some...

I have wondered about this too. Last year I happened to be reading about personality disorders and when I read about narcissistic personality disorder I was horrified because it sounded so much like me (or at least me when I was younger)... or was that just because one of the key traits is lack of e...

So a friend of mine who identifies as an Aspie posted (on Facebook) his results to an autism spectrum quiz (Autism Quotient) tonight, and his friends started posted their scores as replies. One woman replied, "I lose. I got 35. Yoicks!" (35 is a fairly high score) So I said, "[Name of Woman], how is...

Psychologists seem to agree that a sense of belonging is a good predictor of mental health. My own mental health hasn't been so great for the past couple years, and I've been feeling a serious loss of the sense of belonging that I have had at previous times in my life. But how does one acquire it? L...

I am relieved to see that other people here were reading by age 2. My 22-month-old daughter's language skills seem to be developing normally... Then last week her father decided to teach her how to read. She picked it up immediately, and can now recognize several words. The question is, is early rea...

I learned to read by memorizing. I can still remember the day when I was four years old that I realized that I could actually tell which word was which: I was actually reading! This was The Little Engine That Could (which I recently glanced at, and it has some very complex words). After that, it was...
