drinking diet soda DOES help. i got my fiance to switch from regular pepsi to diet and he lost ten pounds with no other changes. sweeteners have been unfairly demonized. Diet probably helps lose weight more than regular soda, but some of the weird chemicals in diet are likely bad if consumed a lot ... |

^^ Try asking some of them out on a weed-smokin date now that's it's legal here.
Watch out though, an ugly girl looks REALLY ugly while you're high. |

Occasionally you'll have a fashion swing like the 80's where everything will go super-gaudy and plastic, then we scare ourselves (the sheer quantity of aerosols, carcinogens, and occasional human torch when the edge of someone's fashion helmet or weave caught the tip of a cigarette was enough!). I ... |

Well the U.S. is supposedly one of the most "free" countries in the world. And it's arguably the most powerful when it comes to fighting wars, etc. Doubt that's a coincidence. |

^^ That appears to be in the wrong thread. Also, I think he's talking about how sociopaths are born that way, and often it's hereditary from the parents you're referring to. |

If you take current physics seriously, if Others have space craft, they go at less than the speed of light. I am inclined to see light speed as an upper bound (not attainable btw) to the speed of any massive object. If others have "stargates" (stable wormholes), they travel "faster t... |

^^ Just wait until that hypothetical guy in your story actually does get-laid. Then he probably really will feel "entitled". Meaning he'll want more-more-more of it and very soon just cause he's gotten it b4. He now has actual evidence(not proof) to back-up his entitlement-belief. Whereas ... |

In the U.S. most thugs are actually brown not black(usually Hispanic).

One thing that really stands out about our species is we love anything that's artificial and tend to loathe the natural world. We like our air conditioners, heaters, electric lights, gadgets, chlorinated water, synthetic fabrics, to name some examples. What is it in our makeup that alienates us fro... |

I actually wonder if the word "entitled" is complete sarcasm in this context. Seems like a guy only gets called that if he doesn't get what he claims to want after complaining about it(strong evidence that he isn't entitled, despite what he thinks). |

lol, this thread reminds me of how idiots sometimes say that attractive women are "asking for it" by wearing revealing clothes.
When in truth, they usually dress that way to act even more stuck-up(i.e. the exact opposite of "asking for it") |

Probably gave her number to avoid awkwardness in the moment(common reason). I have a better question, so how does a girl politely get-out of giving a guy their number when they don't want to? "No thanks. I am not interested." That works if it's not in a rude tone-of-voice, and also if the... |
