Personally, I wish for one of two things: 1. An immediate global ban on all tobacco and tobacco products.  No exceptions and no excuses. How well is a ban on illegal drugs working? How well did prohibition of alcohol work? Banning substances that people want and seek out does not work and creates t...

So, we're told that to maintain friendships you have to reach out to people now and then, like calling them or sending a message, and sometimes inviting them to do something, like going out to dinner, but I can't tell if I'm being friendly or if I'm being a bother. During personal interactions I hav...

I am less angry than I was when I was younger, but I think the only thing that really helps when it's so severe is medication. I would consult a psychiatrist. Not saying there's anything wrong with you, just that prescribed medication might be able to take off that edge. There are things you can try...

It's as if they don't understand that fans care about the concert as a whole and its continuity, and it's not just some light, distracting entertainment that you can just see some of here and there. Being a fan of a musician goes deep.

I don't think I know the Heidi incident.

If they are able and willing to help, it seems like it would be useful. I guess the question is would they expect something in return? And is it something you would be able and willing to give? Would they want to control your life? Or are you just worried that you would feel guilty and indebted? I h...

They are not specifically saying "Death to Israel" but "From River to Sea" which does mean Israel as a Jewish state needs to go. What the replacement for the Jewish State should be means anything from a multiethnic democratic state to the slaughter of the Jews. That means it is ...

You can carry hand sanitizer in your pocket. I'm not saying this solves every problem of course.

I heard about this and it's terrible! Why advertise a concert and then show bits and pieces of it? That just seems wrong.

Walking can be painful if you already have pain in your legs. Can you do some other kind of exercise? You probably don't have access to a bike or a stationary bike, though that's what I would try, since you don't have to put weight on your legs. There are floor exercises that you can do. There are i...

Do you think me weighing 168-170 pounds at about 5ft8 has something to with that? That is not at all a fat weight for that height. But yes, I do think people tend to gain weight over the years. I have to eat a lot less now than I did in my 30s to maintain a similar weight. It's not just a matter of...

Interesting thread to resurrect from 2018... :)

But no, I don't think people should be imprisoned for anything and that the whole criminal justice system needs to be restructured and rethought.

Certainly not for peeing in a pool, as disgusting and disrespectful as it is.
