What are some examples of people that got a lot of education and work at jobs that are unskilled? -They earned a PhD in Philosophy and ended up waiting/bussing tables in an off-Broadway restaurant. To elaborate, I have met a lot of people who happily earned their HASS degrees in the belief that the...

Does anyone on here know of any techniques that have helped you manifest your goals? The ones that worked for me: 1. Get good grades in high school. 2. Get good grades in college or university. 3. Get a job with a reputable company. 4. Work smarter, not (necessarily) harder. Through it all, stay ou...

Should we have established careers by late 20s/early 30s? Whether you like it or not, your career is established by your mid-thirties.  Whatever you have been doing up to then IS your career, be it a C-suite position or a job in telemarketing. There are exceptions, of course.  Some people may exper...

When my hair was long (back when I still had hair), I would enjoy going to the beauty parlor with my wife to get my hair washed and trimmed.  The attendants would s-l-o-w-l-y massage my head, neck, and shoulders so well that I would sometimes fall asleep.  They would never use the electric clippers ...

After high school, I had no trouble meeting women and getting dates.  The trouble I had was in getting dates after the first one.  Then it was a matter of learning how to mask my weirdness interact in 'normal' ways.

My wife and I have been together now for over 30 years.

Likely for whatever reason keeps them single.  Obsessive interests, for one; non-normative behavior, for another.

How do you guys handle misunderstandings with NTs? It depends. My Fault?  If it is, then I own up to it and offer to correct it.  If not, then my SOP is as follows: Factual Errors?  I try to be as factual as possible, while waiting for the NTs to admit their opinions are not facts.  Hell should fre...

Stocking up is a good idea.  However, I have three recommendations: 1. Use the oldest canned goods first, or the ones with the nearest expiration date. 2. Store the canned goods in a cooler place than a garage -- such as a basement or interior closet in your home. 3. Use the canned goods as suppleme...
