I gave up on Dr Phil a long time ago. He has a history of giving questionable advice even going back to when he was on the Oprah show in the '90's.

What are they going to do? They should make their own cartoons then because I don't think that any artists in western countries who make them would pay any attention to that.

I'm getting increasingly irritated by people that misunderstand what neurodiversity was originally meant to be, and that have hijacked the terms so that neurodiversity today seems to be anything that differs from the NT norm, rather than the traits related to the broader autistic phenotype and rela...

Beware of charming people. Beware of people who fill you with compliments and make you feel like royalty. Beware of people who make you feel good. Beware of people who want to fall in love with you quickly are whom you fall in love with quickly. No offense, but a lot of that is bad advice - and wil...

And you've revived a 7 year old thread of mine. Well done.

Anyway, that's a Sesame street parody of Lord of the Rings, it's not actually an adaptation of the books, like what this thread was originally about.

When I first saw this thread, I initially thought the OP was female. Now I see that gender isn't listed, so maybe I was wrong.

Yeah, if online dating didn't work then that's probably not going to work either. He's basically asking strangers on the internet to suggest dates to him. How would they know him well enough to do that?

Why? So, Earth must be a utopia first before we do anything else? If we stuck to that logic we'd all still be living in caves.

"Natural human exclusion" is systemic oppression. Many people in general tend "naturally" to be prejudiced against people different from themselves (in whatever way: race, cultural background, economic class, etc. -- as well as neurology), or at least to have difficulty empathiz...

I've read a lot on this forum about how Christianity fits perfetly well with having Aspergers. But I don't understand why. Religion is all about conforming to a set of ideas regardless of your own original thoughts on the matter. I've had a great interest in Christianity and early Judaism for the p...
