CuriousPrimate -

No, "people skills" never was officially listed as part of my job description. However, I don't seem to interact all that effectively with other people, at least from my view.

Ok that is abuse of prescribed pharmaceuticals. . Not really. When doctors prescribe medications for pain they give a very limited number of pills, certainly not enough for anybody to become addicted or abuse them. Most people don't use all the pain meds they get, and save them for the future. The ...

I wouldn't say that I take illegal drugs, but I occasionally save prescription painkillers from surgeries and such and take them later on when I need a buzz 8)

My life sucks, and I wish I could just die to get rid of it, but I'm not so sure it's related to AS. My job sucks big fat hairy donkey ears and is destroying the quality of my life. AS-related overload and dislike of change doesn't help, but I doubt that an NT in my shoes would find it to be sunshin...

Food poisoning can happen any time, anywhere, if an employee is careless. In Baltimore, a really famous Spanish restaurant called Tio Pepes (anyone who lives in Maryland has probably heard of it) ended up poisoning a lot of people because they didn't properly clean the leeks they were using in thei...

I got a hold of one of my mom's magazines when I was still in grade school. I asked her what a "meaningful quickie" was on the way to dance class, after reading about it. She nearly ran off the road

I make an effort to stay fit and eat healthy. I was the fat kid in school and through the parts of college where I *wasn't* struggling with an eating disorder, and my life was hell because of it. I like being thin and I attract a lot less negative attention now. Plus, I feel better when I eat health...

When I lived with my ex, our apartment looked like that and it drove me CRAZY! There was less trash lying around, but it was still extremely cluttered. I am one of those people who gets overloaded by messes and things out of order, and I can't stand a dirty kitchen/dining room.

It is common, actually, Reeses. I love to drink when I'm going out for that reason. I drink way too much, though. They try and forbid me to have my shooters, like that'll ever happen. Same. Last time I got drunk I spent the evening on my best friends' utility room floor. But still its better than b...

Women who hover five inches over the toilet seat and pee all over the thing. They're the reason there's pee on the seat in the first place. I wonder if these are the same women who nag men about leaving the toilet seat down? Crying babies. Blathering phone conversations from people who KNOW I...

I have tics that get worse under stress. They started showing up last year when I was going through prolonged stress at work - it was like finals week in college, except it went on for months. :(

Jman - I'm in IT, and one thing I wish I would have done in school is gotten an internship. It gives you real-world experience, plus it helps when you are trying to get a job right after college. There are quite a few places that look for graduates with real-world experience in addition to coursewor...
