http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/community-returning-sixth-season-yahoo-715857 The streaming service has just made a big leap into notability by answering the call for "six seasons and a movie" (well, the first part of it anyway). I'm happy with this news. The last season (which reversed t...

How I Met Your Mother. I tried watching an episode and couldn't even get through it.

I'll also concur with the anti-Friends sentiment.

During the show's original run, and the period in between its cancellation and revival, I loved it. Thought it was the funniest thing on TV. However, when the show came back, it just didn't seem the same. There were still some funny gags, and a few solidly enjoyable episodes here and there (like "PT...

Truth be told, I always found TBBT to be formulaic and not particularly well-written - it's always been little more than Friends with nerdy characters and humor. But at least the nerd factor made it stand out a *little* and allowed it to be entertaining at times. As others have noted, those aspects ...

Community - "The Science of Illusion" and "Contemporary American Poultry". The latter is one of my absolute favorites. The Simpsons - "Treehouse of Horror XXIV". I actually quite enjoyed the opening and the Dr. Seuss parody. The other two segments were as forgettable as you'd expect from modern Sim...

I was the tallest Caucasian in my 8th grade class (most of the African-Americans were taller). But I didn't grow after that, and by the end of high school I was average if not below.

Homer Simpson is definitely not an aspie. I don't agree about Martin Prince or Lisa Simpson either - someone mentioned that laziness and incompetence are not necessarily aspie traits, but being very smart or a high achiever doesn't necessarily make you an aspie either. I think if anyone on The Simps...

I'm cautiously optimistic. I do think the show got a little too weird in the second half of the third season (especially with the Chang stuff), but Dan did admit that was the worst part of his run. And while season 4 had its moments, overall the show just didn't feel right - the characters seemed re...

^Probably because he knew that the show had gone on too long.

I liked this show at one point. I can't really pinpoint when it declined (maybe around the movie if I had to guess), but it just got old after a while.

If you like Community, watch Arrested Development. It's the same sort of humor, but so much funnier imo. I'm switching around the order of your quotes in order to make my post a little more coherent. But actually, I sought out Community because I was looking for more shows like Arrested Development...

I am bisexual, but have yet to meet another male aspie who was gay or bi (and I've met a good amount of male aspies). If anything, from my experience, it seems like female aspies have a stronger tendency to be either gay, bi, or asexual, though it's certainly not universal.

In my prepubescent years, I was a 2. From middle school through early college, I was a solid 1. Nowadays I'm somewhere between 1 and 4, with maybe an occasional hint of 3 if I'm in a particularly antisocial mood.

Are math skills really related to gender though? I'm male and below-average at math, while I've met some female aspies who are really good at it.

It took me years longer than my peers to be able to tie my shoes at all. And to this day, although I have the basic idea of how to tie a shoe, I have a hard time tying them in a way that they can stay tied for a long time. I find myself having to re-tie them numerous times per day.

Some aspies definitely are not very good at math. Myself, for one. I typically got B's and C's in math classes (I think I might have managed an A or two in high school Algebra), and completely struggled with Pre-Calculus and computer science. I worked harder to get a C in college Pre-Calc (after fai...
